COOL. SO, Kevin, needs some more attention people!! This is the first part of the Kevin fic, so let me know if you like it and I can post some more!! Please enjoy! “I'm thinking coffee break?” I say to Alicia as we finish the first coat of paint. A few weeks before we decided that my room needed some color rather than the eggshell white it once was. But now, with the walls a smoky blue, I have all the color I could want. It was Alicia’s choice of course, but I actually thought it worked well. Looking at it now, I was very proud of our paint job, aside from the splotches along the roof. But I needed a latte now. “I'm thinking you are a genius for thinking that. Let’s go.” So we drop our brushes and get cleaned up. I grab my house keys, phone and umbrella and we are out the door. Walking in the rain, I see that even when it’s raining here, LA is beautiful. When we moved from Jersey two years ago, it took me forever to get used to the weather. We walk down the street and before I open the door to the Starbucks, Alicia points out the hot guy walking down the street on the other side. When I turn back around, all I see is the huge metal door coming straight at my face. My head is throbbing and my vision is blurred but I can see Alicia standing in front of me shocked. Someone else is there too. The image starts to clear up and I can see a tall guy with brown curly hair and bright hazel eyes standing over me. I feel like I recognize him, but my head hurts too much to really think about anything. I sit up, immediately regretting it because my head starts spinning like crazy. Alicia reaches down to help me stand up. I look at the guy and front of me. He is watching me get up and I stare at him curiously. Medium build, perfect brown tight-curled hair, tall, and gorgeous. “Damn.” I say groggily, rubbing my head. I look at Alicia. “What the hell happened?” She points to the stranger. He pipes up, telling me what happened, and how when he was on his way out he was looking the other way and never saw me. He opened the door and it slammed into me. “I am incredibly sorry. You have no idea how bad I feel.” He says with concern pouring over his words. Even though it hurts like crazy, I can tell how guilty he feels. “No harm done. Well,” I laugh lightly “maybe a little.” I point to my head. He laughs, and even though I don’t mean to flirt with him, it seems hard not to. “Hey, uh…here.” He grabs a receipt from his pants and writes something down. I take it kindly and put it into my purse, not even glancing at it. He seems a little sad, making me wish I had read it first, but he puts on a stunning smile anyways. “Just let me know if there is anything I can do to make it up to you.” He smiles and there is a moment of awkward silence. How do I know him? I think. I look at Alicia and she rolls her eyes. I'm confused for a minute, and then realize I should give him my name. “My name is Meghan, by the way. In case you wanted to know who you owe that favor to.” He flashes that beautiful smile again, and I tell him I’ll see him around, and I open the Starbucks door very cautiously to go in. Alicia follows behind me. I hear my name when I get to the counter, and turn to see the curly haired guy in the doorway. I raise my eyebrows expectantly. “Just…” He trails off thinking. “Just make sure to ice your head.” I smile and nod my head. He stands uncomfortably, looking around the Starbucks at the numerous people staring at him. “Right.” He says, and with an awkward wave, the gorgeous boy has disappeared. “Oh wow. Was that ever strange.” Alicia laughs. I look at her and laugh too. It really was weird. Then before I can do anything, she reaches into my bag and grabs the receipt the guy gave me. Her eyes are wide as saucers as she reads it. I look at her questioningly, and she laughs again. “Meg, your sister is going to freak.” I grab the paper from her hands and read. Kevin Jonas =) (is really really sorry.) Call me sometime, and I’ll make it up to you. 569-5505 =)“You just got knocked out by a Jonas boy…”

Alrighttt so, here is chapter two. Let me know what you think =)
Chapter TWO:::: My head was still throbbing the next morning, and I started to think I should have actually listened to that boy, and put a damn icepack on my head. With a bump the size of a small apple on my forehead, I dragged myself out of my bed and down the stairs. When I get in the kitchen, my sister is sitting at the island, gripping a small piece of paper in her hands. I look at her curiously, until I see my purse open with the contents spread across the counter. I start fuming and run over, snatching the receipt from her hands. “What the hell do you think you’re doing in my stuff?” I nearly yell. She only glares at me, which is so not what she should be doing right now. “How do you just not tell their biggest fan you have their freaking number!?” She cries with shock plastered to her face. I cannot help but laugh at my fifteen-year-old, over obsessed, Jonas crazed sister, and the fit she is having over some guys’ number. “Terry, it’s not a big deal I-“ She cuts in, again with a whine. “How did you even get it? It’s just so insane.” She says, completely dazed. So while I grab a hearty bacon and egg breakfast for us, I explain the whole ordeal that happened yesterday, and point out the tender lump on my head. After she’s had her laugh at my apparent ungainliness concerning doors (I’ve had previous incidents,) she seems content with what I’ve given her. “Call him.” She pushes my cell phone beside my plate. “Now.” “Isn’t it sort of early?” I look at the clock on the phone. “Okay, so, maybe 12:45 isn’t early, but he’s probably busy doing music business stuff…” Terry rolls her eyes, grabs the phone and dials the number, and before I can stop her, I hear a voice on the other end, and she throws the phone to me. “YOH!” He yells. “Uh, hi. Um, Kevin?” I ask, completely red in face, and glaring at my ecstatic sister, who is probably going to hyperventilate in about one minute. “No, its Joe, one sec, let me get him,” “Uh-huh” I mumble. “Wait, who is calling?” He asks, his voice is deep and a little hoarse, so I’m hoping I didn’t wake anyone up. “Say something cute!” Terry whispers. She’s right. “Tell him its yesterdays victim.” I smirk. My sister nods, smiling. The guy on the other end laughs really hard, and yells “Kevin it’s yesterdays victim!” I giggle. There is an exchange between people, and the sweet, light-hearted voice comes on the phone; one that I hadn’t realized how much I loved. “Hello?” he says nervously. I giggle, and tell him who it is. “Hey Meghan! Sorry about Joseph. How is your head?” He asks genuinely. His voice sounds like its echoed. I assume it’s just the phone. “Large.” I laugh, and so does he. My sister has moved and has her ear right against the phone. “I should have listened to your advice and put some ice on it.” I rub my head and feel that the swelling has gone down the tiniest bit. “Well, I’m glad you called, because I’ve been thinking of a way to make it up to you.” I smile, and then walk away from my sister with the phone. She throws her arms up and tries to chase me, but I giggle and run into the bathroom and lock the door. I hear her huff and she fakes footsteps but slides down the outside of the door, and she probably has her ear against it so I go into the shower and close the door. “Sorry Kevin. My sister was-” He chuckles and interjects. “Trying to get the details? Are you in the bathroom?” He finishes my sentence and laughs. “Um…” I trail off feeling painfully embarrassed. “It’s okay he says, so am I. It’s the only place Nick and Joe will leave me alone. I'm on the bus.” I sigh and we start to laugh at the situation we share. “So, I was thinking, in order to make it up to you, I could take you out for Sushi. Tomorrow maybe? We have a few interviews today, but tomorrow my schedule is clear.” I pretend to contemplate the answer and tell him I’d love to. After I’ve given him my address and cell number, I hang up the phone feeling incredibly excited and joyful. I quietly open the shower door, and sneak over to the bathroom one. Stealthily, I turn the knob, and swing the door open as fast as I can. Sure enough Terry falls to the floor with a thump. I laugh at her lying there and start to walk over her. BAD idea. She grabs my sweats at the sides and yanks them down. “UGH!” I yell. While I struggle to pull them up again, she gets away, running up the stairs and into her room. I chase after her and jump to hold her down. She gets caught in a swarm of tickles, and she finally calls mercy through gasping attempts at air. I laugh and roll off of her. When she catches her breath and is more collected, she asks what I’ve been waiting for. “So? When’s the wedding?” I punch her in the arm. “You loser. If you really wanted to know, we’re going out tomorrow night!” I say gleefully. She claps her hands stupidly and shouts “Yay!” “You know what you should do?” She continues after her moment of mental retardation. “You should invite everyone over for the day.” She smiles, and I can tell she is daydreaming about the middle Jo Bro, Joe. Even with the age difference of about three and a half years, she is in love with the guy. I laugh at her. “I haven’t even had one date with Kevin, and you’re already planning your already planning your future with Joe.” “Well if you change your mind, I'm ALWAYS available to help out.” She winks at me, and again, I laugh. By dinnertime, I am shaking like a leaf on a tree, and I can hardly contain my excitement. I know Terry is almost as happy as I am, because if things work out, then it’s possible she will be able to meet her dream guy. With my parents out of town, I am in charge, and Terry designates me as the head chef in the house. So for dinner, I’ve gathered some Chicken, beans and rice. All are fresh, and I’ve cooked them to near perfection, but I just can’t seem to eat. It could be the rush of feelings holding me back, but in any case, I just keep pushing things around on the plate. Terry on the other hand has thrown back every ounce of her food, and is reaching for seconds. “We need to get you something to wear.” She says while spooning another helping of rice onto the plate in front of her. “Well, I guess. Maybe we can stop by the mall after work to grab some stuff.” She smiles and I grab my plate. Once the dishes are done I jump over the couch and pop in Transformers. My sister sees what’s on, screams Bloody Murder when Shia LaBeuf comes on and downs the rest of her dinner. She snuggles up under the blankets and grabs her favorite pillow. “Tomorrow…” She trails off, staring at Shia on the screen. I laugh silently at her emersion in the movie, and finish for her. “Will be amazing.”

Alright, this took awhile, but it's up. I think its pretty much the same pace as the second chapter, so I apologize. READ IT ANYWAY!! and REVIEW please!!!
Chapter THREE:::::
My phone, tucked away under my pillow, starts vibrating. The movement wakes me up, and I reach under to answer it. It’s six forty seven on a Saturday morning, and I have to work at eight. I check the caller, and see that it is Alicia, the only one crazy enough to wake me at this hour. “What?” I grumble. “Just making sure you’re up. Corner, half an hour. Shift starts at eight, don’t be late.” She grumbles back and hangs up. Well, I’m up now, I think. I drop my clothes, and walk into my adjoining bathroom. I drag my self in and step into the chilly water. I’ve learned that the best way to wake up is with a cold shower, plus it lets my dry skin hold in some moisture. I finish, blow dry and then straighten my blonde, tediously curly locks, making it so much easier to pull my hair back into a bun. I grabbed my dark wash denim skinnies, a purple v-neck long sleeve top, and a grey powder vest with a red rose pin on the collar. I slip on my simplest black and white vans, and walk downstairs. I scribble a note for my sister to meet me at the mall after my shift at 2, and run out the door. I meet Alicia at the corner right on time, and we grab the bus to the mall. After a horrendous shift including a young boy knocking over two racks of clothing and at least 18 pairs of jeans from the previously perfect looking shelves, and a mother yelling at us because her daughter could not find the pair of jeans specified on a Abercrombie coupon (which took a good 20 minutes to explain,) I am finally off work. Alicia and I gather our things, and head out into the mall. After we’ve hit HMV and the food court, I feel my phone vibrate again. I look at the caller id and see that it’s Terry. “Hey, we are at the fountain.” I say looking around for her. Alicia nudges me, and points when she spots her. Alicia waves frantically while I pretend not to know her. “SHOP!” Terry yells, running up to us. I get up and it’s like my sister has filled me with a surge of energy. “SHOP!” I yell back, laughing. Alicia drags herself up with much less enthusiasm. I notice she doesn’t look so good. “Ali, go back to my house and have a sleep. You know where the key is. We’ll just wake you up when we get home.” I smile sympathetically, and look to Terry for reinforcement. She nods. “Yeah, because that way, when we wait all night for her,” She points in my direction and continues. “You will be awake!” Alicia laughs. “Are you sure? I thought you wanted me to help you shop.” I smile at her and tell her to go home, and that we will be fine. “Alright, lets go!” Terry grabs my arm and we scour the mall for an outfit that will knock Kevin out. It’s only fair. Finally, after three hard-core hours of shopping, we have completed our mission, and picked up a few extra things, including a blue cardigan for Alicia, and my battery has not yet burnt out. Terry unlocks the door and we quietly step inside, knowing Alicia will be asleep somewhere near by. Sure enough she’s passed out on the couch. Looking around, I can see the house is incredibly filthy, but I don’t want to focus on that at all. I run upstairs to put my bag on my bed, and then run back down to jump on Alicia. “Ouch!” She screams and pushes me off the couch. I just laugh and tell her to get up. Terry hands her the cardi and already she is in a better mood. It’s amazing what clothes will do for a girl. I run back upstairs to get ready. By five-forty I am ready to go and decked out in a cream shirt that hangs off my shoulders, my dark wash skinny jeans, a pair of cute cowboy boots and my silver cross necklace. My blond hair is tied back into a relaxed braid and my makeup is natural. Just as I’m beginning to worry that Kevin won’t show, I get a text message that says See you at six thirty? I smile and I text back that I’ll be waiting. Right on time, Mr. Kevin Jonas is at my door. I run downstairs and watch as my sister jumps up to get the door. I throw her a deathly look and she stops. When I open the door, we smile at each other and he takes my hand, sending chills all over my body, and leads me to the car. “So where to?” I ask as I pull on my seat belt. He smiles at me. I'm really hoping he doesn’t notice my slight nervousness, but then, I am pretty pro at hiding my emotions when I want to. “Well it’s this place called Chow. They make the best Sushi. When we first moved to California, I started exploring, and I found this restaurant. We’re actually almost here.” He points to a little red building. “Sounds great.” I say as we pull into the parking spot. Talking to him just seems so easy and natural, and it’s amazing how comfortable I feel with him already. While we are waiting for our Sushi, we talk about ourselves. Just like before, it’s incredibly easy to talk to him. I keep getting distracted by his beautiful smile. And that hair… “Meghan?” He says snapping me out of my trance. I realize that my trailing thoughts have once again diverted my attention. “Sorry?” I blush, feeling stupid. “You said you have a sister right?” He smiles, and for the first time he is blushing too. He must have realized how I was looking at him. “Oh, Terry? Yeah, and she can be the biggest pain. Like the other day when we were on the phone.” We laugh, and my face has returned to its normal color. “You have siblings too right? Your brothers?” He laughs. “Yeah, those two. Joseph and Nicholas. It’s nice to have them with me, even if they get annoying sometimes.” He smiles, and I catch myself before I go all spacey again. We talk about how they travel all over, and what kind of things he likes; like pole vaulting, coffee, and guitar. Finally the Sushi arrives, and I start to wish I had offered a different cuisine when he asked me out. I am viewing the arrays of rolls, and asking Kevin which one is which. He points out two kinds that I think I can deal with. One has avocado and the other is a California roll with crab. I pick up the chopsticks beside me, and attempt to grab one of the little rolls with them. Kevin is already ahead of me by like five, so I focus really hard and try to get one. I hear him laughing and ignore it. But then I hear a shutter button, and I have to look up. Kevin has his camera out and he takes another picture of me. I laugh and tell him to put it away. I put down the chopsticks. “Damn sticks.” I mumble and Kevin laughs. He reaches over lightly picks up my hands, and my chopsticks. He wraps his fingers around my fingers, and shows me the movement. I am so delighted with the fact that his hands are on mine, and are so warm that I don’t actually pay attention to what he is trying to get me to do. He lets go and I frown. “I think I would be better off with a fork or my fingers.” I giggle. He smiles, and I grab my fork. For the rest of the meal, he asks about me. Who my parents are, what I’m like, where I work; just little things that let him know me. He smiles a lot, and listens contently. I feel weird talking about myself so much, but he doesn’t seem to mind at all; he is the one asking. We finish dinner, and Kevin graciously pays. I thank him and we leave. It’s already 11:00 when we get to my house. When the car stops, Kevin says something that surprises me. “You know, my house is right up that street and around the corner. Its number 2445.” Hey says pointing. I make a mental note of the directions and smile brightly. “Oh?” I reply. “Yeah, so maybe, you could come over tomorrow and we could hang out. We have a two-week break from the shows and the press. You could bring your sister if you wanted. I'm sure Joe and Nick won’t mind the company.” I laugh at the thought of my sister hanging out with the Jonas Brothers. “Uh, Kevin? My sister is a fan.” He gives me a curious look. “No, I mean, she is really a huge fan. She might freak out if she met all of you.” He chuckles. “Well, I still say you should both come. I would wear a suit made of pillows if I had to. It would be really nice to spend some more time with you.” His eyes are locked on my. I blush and look at my hands, which are folded together in my lap. “I would really like that.” I smile shyly. He gets out of the car and comes around to my side to get my door for me. I step out and we walk to the front door. “So, tomorrow, just call me before you come over?” He asks. “I will.” I say, I get out my keys, but before I open the door, I reach over and give him a small kiss on his check. “Goodnight” I barely manage to whisper. I turn and walk inside, closing the door behind me and leaning on it. However, an ambush from Alicia and Terry ruins my moment. They ask how the date went, and I tell them most of what happened. They seem disappointed when I finish. “Cool.” They say in unison. I'm confused now. Their total lack of excitement dumbfounds me. “What? That’s all you’re going to say?” I ask. “Well, what else are we supposed to say? You never said anything about butterflies or kisses, or a second date…” Terry trails off and Alicia nods in agreement. I laugh inside. I get up and start up the stairs, and they watch me, both of them taken aback. I smile. “I don’t kiss and tell.” I say and run up to my room. I hear screeches from the front hall, and the next thing I know they are both jumping onto my bed. We laugh for a while and I give them every detail of how it felt to be with him tonight. When I am finished for the second time, I can see they are satisfied. But what I am about to say, I know will cause at least one of them to go insane. “So, do you guys want to come with me when I go over to their house tomorrow?” I ask slowly. Just as I expected, Terry screams with delight. Judging by the scream, anyone who could hear would probably guess she was a ten year-old girl. I ignore her and turn to Alicia, who is rather collected. “I don’t know if I can go alone.” I admit. I really like Kevin, but with everyone there, I know I would get extremely uncomfortable. “Then it’s a good thing we’re coming.” She peaks around me and looks at Terry who is dancing stupidly around my room. “Well, maybe you should leave the runt here.” We laugh and Terry stops. “I heard that!” She yells and jumps on top of Alicia. “You’re not going anywhere without me tomorrow. I promise I won’t freak out.” She grins. “I'm not sure that’s something you can actually promise.” Alicia laughs. We all jump in bed after about 15 minutes of random chat. I fall asleep almost immediately. I don’t dream, I only sleep easy. And when I wake up in the morning, things seem more beautiful than ever.

Im just going to keep going and going and going expect me to probably FINISH the story in the next two weeks. SPRING BREAK BABY!! Btw, im writing a Nick Fic too, so it should be up soon. Just watch for it!! Chapter FOUR:::: I'm still texting Kevin. My phone has been going off since I woke up. He asks me the most random things. For example the text I'm looking at now is a comparison between lemonade and iced tea. Lmnd =) I send it and then focus again. Alicia, Terry and I are walking to the Jonas house. I jog my memory to figure out the house number. I think it’s 2445. Their house is different than the rest on this street. Stone outside and up the walls of the house, beautiful white columns beside the front door. Almost like it was taken from a completely different place and dropped into the cookie cutter houses of the neighbourhood. Terry is shaking, and I really hope that she doesn’t freak. I ring the doorbell. A women with the same curly brown hair as Kevin’s opens the door. I think about how silly we must look all, standing and grinning at her like we are. Terry, surprisingly enough steps forward. “Hi, I'm Terry, this is my sister Meghan and this is our friend Alicia.” Terry says politely. I am in awe as I exchange a glace with Alicia and see that she is just as surprised as I am. “Well, it’s nice to meet you girls. Kevin told me you were coming over. Come on in. They’re in the living room. It’s just down the hall and to your right. We all say thank you and I nudge Terry. “What got into you?!” I whisper. She just smiles and shrugs. Alright then… Maybe We walk into the living room and sure enough the guys are playing video games on the couch. Kevin smiles and jumps up when he sees me. He is dressed casually but he still looks amazing. His hair looks wet. I walk over to give him a hug, and before I get wrapped up in how amazing his arms feel around me he pulls away, and introduces me to his brothers. Simultaneously Nick and Joe greet me. “Yoh.” They say. Nick is so focused on guitar hero that he doesn’t bother to look up. Joe punches him in the arm and he just says ow and continues to play. Kevin shakes his head. I laugh, and feel something poke into my back. I haven’t realized that Terry was hiding behind me. So much for the confidence, I think. I step out of the way. “This is Alicia, and Terry.” I say. Alicia just says hi to everyone and stands awkwardly beside me. I know Terry is looking at Joe. “Hi.” She says shyly. As soon as she speaks, Nick whips his head up and looks. I notice this and try not to laugh. He is staring so intently at my sister that it is starting to freak me out. I wonder if Terry notices. Before even more awkwardness builds, Kevin leads me outside to their patio. I look back to Alicia and Terry and when they send me questioning looks, I only shrug. As soon as we are outside, I see lemonade sitting on the table. I run and grab a glass. “Yummy!” I yell. Kevin looks at me questioningly and I wrinkle my nose at him. Kevin pulls out a chair for me and I sit down with my glass. I am incredibly happy to be with him again. There is something about his company that melts any troubles I have. “You’re house is really nice.” I say and immediately I want to hit myself for saying something so stupid. “Thanks for letting them come over.” I say looking back at my tag-a-longs who seem to be having a lot of fun inside. Terry is not freaking out, which is a really, really good sign. “It’s really great to see you again.” Kevin says grinning like a dork. I smack his arm and I don’t think he was expecting it. “Stop smiling like that!” I say and he laughs. For about twenty minutes Kevin and I sit out in the sun and talk, mostly about how the tour was, and how happy they are to be off. I don’t know how it comes up, but now Kevin knows I play guitar and sing. He tries to get me to sing something for him, but I won’t and after a million fits of giggles, he gives up “Do you want to play Guitar Hero?” I ask. Kevin looks disappointed, like he was hoping we could stay out on the patio, so I change my mind. “Or we can just stay here.” I say looking around. He smirks. “We don’t have to if you don’t want to. But I'm warning you. If you go in there, things might get a little insane. I am the master of Guitar Hero.” He says proudly. I grab his hand and we run inside. “That’s why I think that regular is way better than Diet.” Terry finishes. I look at her and Alicia with complete shock in my eyes. They haven’t been in there for more than half an hour, and now Joe, Nick, Alicia, and Terry are all buddy-buddy and are battling on Guitar Hero. I would have never thought that she could even get past the fact that she was in their house, and now, here she was sitting chatting with them like it was nothing. “I challenge Meghan to a battle!” Kevin yells, grabbing everyone’s attention including mine. But I snap back, putting on my best concentration face and say “You’re on…” Everyone laughs, but I am completely serious. I own at this game, and just because Kevin has incredibly distracting good looks, does not mean I'm letting him win. So we all gather around the TV, and Kevin and I face off. We are both on Hard and I can tell the pressure is getting to him. He is rubbing his hands on the side of his shirt every chance he gets. I laugh, but I never lose my focus. Finally the battle is over, and I am victorious! Kevin glares at the screen Joe and Nick scream “PONED!” and we all laugh. Suddenly Joe gets up and starts walking towards the patio door, we all watch him and then Kevin yells, “watch out!” Joe returns with a super soaker and all the girls scream. The boys are laughing but we manage to hear Mrs. Jonas tell everyone to go outside. We all run out onto their yard and Kevin and Nick turn on us with their own super soakers! We probably look like chickens running around with our heads cut off, but we really do not care. I cannot stop laughing and eventually, I drop onto the ground. Everyone looks at me. “Wait, wait, wait!” I yell, trying to catch my breath through bursts of laughter. Alicia finishes for me. “UNFAIR ADVANTAGE!!” She screams. “Yeah!” Terry says “Give us time to hide.” We tell the three boys to turn around and count to twenty. In that time we try to look for perfect hiding spots, but their backyard is pretty much barren except for the pool and the lawn. Terry manages to find the hose and when they finish counting we pull it out and soak each of them to the bone. They guys run out of water and surrender. We are all soaking wet, and I'm pretty sure that they can all see our bras. I cover my chest. Terry and Alicia catch on, and giggling, cross their arms as well. “I'm cold, can we have towels?” Alicia says blushing bright red. “I think they’re lying again. Besides, you look fine to me.” Joe says and glances at Nick and Kevin then at Alicia. Nick slaps him on the arm, and I can tell Alicia is even more embarrassed. Terry runs up behind me. “Did you see that?” She whispers frantically. I ignore her, and when Nick returns with towels I feel my phone vibrating again. I screen it and see that it is my mom. It’s really weird for her to be calling my cell when she knows the long distance charges are insane. “It’s my mom.” I say to no one in particular. “Mom, hi!” “Where are you?” “I'm at a friends house, why?” “Well, your father decided we should surprise you.” “Shit.” I say in a hushed tone away from the phone. Terry hears it and starts listening in. Everyone else is just awkwardly watching us. I'm dreading the next words my mother has. “Well, we’re home. And I am not happy. The house looks like a Stampede of cows ran through it, but apparently that was just you two.” She is getting upset. “Mom, its fine. I'm going to clean it when I get home.” I check the date quickly on my phone while Mom rambles on about the mess. Today is only the 7th of July. My parents weren’t due back for another week. I whisper this to Terry. “Mom, wait!” Terry grabs the phone from me, and starts trying talk over my mom. “You and Dad weren’t supposed to get home from New York until NEXT Sunday. “Like I said” Her angry voice is ringing through the phone, and the boys sneak back inside and Alicia follows behind them. “Surprise. I guess it back fired though.” I see her stern face through the phone. “Home now. You have a lot of work to do.” She hangs up the phone. We peak into the Jonas house, and Alicia and the guys are sitting on the couch talking. “We gotta head home guys. Our parents got back early.” I say disappointed. “A week early.” Terry adds. The guys all frown. “Are you coming Ali?” Terry asks. “Well, I was just talking to the guys, and I kinda figured you were going to have to head home, so I was just going to hang out here for a little while. Terry and I, both fairly surprised, nod our heads. Terry grabs her bag, and says goodbye. She and Nick hold glances long enough for Joe and Kevin and I to glance at each other. Joseph coughs loudly, ruining the moment and Nick and Terry look away. Alicia laughs and Kevin gets up. “I’ll walk you out.” I smile at him sweetly and notice how incredibly good he looks in his wet clothes. I am probably creating a Nick/Terry moment so I make my feet move me to the front door. On the way out, we pass Mrs. Jonas. “Are you girls leaving?” She asks curiously. “Yeah, thanks so much for letting us come over. It was really nice to meet you.” I return graciously. “Oh its no trouble. You should come over for dinner sometime! We love having guests over.” “Thanks. See you later then.” Kevin chuckles behind me and I nudge him in the stomach. We get to the front door and I stop. “Thanks. It was really fun. And…wet.” I laugh. I hand him the towel. His eyes meet mine, but this time I don’t get lost in them. I think I am getting better at focusing. “Yeah, it was. My moms right; you should come over for dinner sometime. It will be water fight-free. I promise.” I smile. Terry is grabbing my arm pulling me. “Sure.” I say quickly. “See you later Kevin! I love your music!” Terry shouts as we run down the front walkway. We keep on running until we get to the house, where mom and dad great us with wide eyes. “Water fight.” Terry says as we are giving extended hugs. “It’s nice to see you again, but why are you home so early?” She asks. “Well,” My dad says as we step into the house. “We were thinking that we would all head out to the beach house for the next two weeks. We’re going tomorrow afternoon.” I could cry. The two weeks that Kevin and his brother have off, is the week my parents decide they want to spend time with us? “Oh…” Terry and I both say. We fake smiles. “Well, I guess we better get the house cleaned up so it’s spotless. Don’t want a messy house when we get home. That would be terrible.” I realize I sound like a mother from the fifties, but I could care less. The more I focus on leaving, the more it hurts. So the next two hours I put all of my effort into cleaning the house. By the time I'm done, I have to say the house looks really good. It hasn’t helped much. The only thing that could would be hearing Kevin’s voice. I run upstairs and check on my sister. She already has her bags packed and she is ready. “I called Alicia and told her while you were scrubbing the hell out of the sinks.” She laughs. Thank God for my sister, always finds humor in every situation. “She is coming. I’ve asked Mom and Dad, and she cleared it with her folks.” She smiles. I run to hug her. “I should go pack.” I say a little cheerier. I throw in a few things that will last me the two weeks at the beach and close up my suitcase. I grab my phone and text Kevin. (bold is Kevin.)This sux. ttly. =(I wish we cld just spend the nxt 2 wks 2gthr I no. Miss ur cmpny alrdy.Same. Maybe ull c me there?Wat? I cld prbs stop by.Rlly? Tht wld b amzng! Sure. Wnt 2 gv me the adrss?I text it to him, and feel much better about the whole ordeal. I run to tell my sister, and find her on her bed reading A Million Little Pieces. “Kevin might come by!” I say gleefully. “To the beach house?!” She asks enthusiastically. I nod. “That’s awesome! Is anyone else coming?” I wonder which brother she is talking about. I stare at her. “Is Nick coming?” She finally asks. “You do like him! I knew something clicked. What about Joe?” Terry blushes. “I like him, but I can’t see us together. Not that I think Nick I are going to get together,” her face is a deeper red now. “but like you said, something just clicked. I feel really comfortable when I talk to him.” “And your posters?” I gesture to the walls, but realize every tweeny poster has disappeared and been replaced with one single picture. “What’s this?” I walk over to the wall to get a closer look. It is a picture from today after the water fight. Nick is on the left side of Terry and Joe on the right. They are all smiling brightly and Nick and Joe are doing bunny ears on each other. “I took it today.” Terry says smiling proudly. I love the picture. I don’t think I have seen my sister look this real or happy in a long time. This could be good for both of us I realize.

Alright, so i cannot stop writing, and here is chapter five! I hope you all like it, I'm really happy with it so... yeah!! Read and Review!! Nick Fic should be up soon. Its related to this one!!
Chapter FIVE::::: “You’re sure you don’t want to go for a walk with me and Mom?” Dad says as they get ready to leave the beach house. We have been here for three days, and I still haven’t seen Kevin. I have been texting him non-stop, and I called the day after we got here. I still miss his warm smile, and I would give anything to have his arms around me again. Terry and Alicia have been soaking up a million rays of sun at the beach. When she came over in the day we left, we pried for the details of what she did at the Jonas house the day before. “I just played GH3 and we talked. I met Mr. Jonas and Frankie, who is just a seven year-old Joe.” She smiled. “Do you like Joe?” Terry asked playfully. “I have to shower…” Alicia dodged the question, smiled and walked into my bathroom. “You do like him!” Terry called after her. “Well duh. She already showered this morning.” I mumbled. Even though Alicia had showered this morning, I heard the water start running. What a waste, I thought. Half an hour later when Alicia was done her shower, we hit the road. Terry continued bugging Alicia about her crush. “At least we don’t stare at each other for half an hour.” Terry sort of shut up about the whole situation for the rest of the hour drive. The house still looked the same; it was crisp, white and huge. It was a second home, and I was really thankful for my parent’s jobs paying for it. My moms job at a really great record label, plus my dad’s job as a surgeon helped make my life so lavish. It took every moral ounce not to take it for granted like a lot of wealthy people I knew did. Which is why I had a good job, took pride in my education, and spent a lot of time doing volunteer work throughout the year. I encouraged Terry to do the same. It really kept us humble. When we bought the house, we found out we were purchasing a piece of a private beach as well. There was a guesthouse in the back the size of a tiny bungalow, separated from the main house by a pool (which I did not see the point of.) The house itself was huge and when you would walk into the front, the first thing you would see was a huge sitting room, and the kitchen and dining room. Everything looked incredibly bright and peachy-keen. Upstairs there were three smaller bedrooms, a master bedroom, a master bathroom, and one smaller bathroom in the hallway. Alicia and Terry ask me if I'm coming to the beach with them, but I decline. I spent too much time out there the first day I got a harsh sunburn and minor sun poisoning. They leave me with hugs and race each other to the chairs. I look at my phone as soon as I detect a vibration. I'm starting to think that if I tried hard enough, I could get it before the text message came in. It is not the number I think it’s going to be though. It’s one that I can’t put a name to, but I’ve seen before. “Oh damn.” I say as I read the message. It’s from this guy I met here last year. We had…something. But I wouldn’t call him an ex-boyfriend, more like a fling. I haven’t talked to him all year, except for a few random run-ins where he would try to get me to go out for a friendly dinner. His motives were always deeper though. As much as I liked the feeling of being with him, I hated him. The message says he’s waiting for me out front. Great, I think, he found the house. I walk out front and sure enough Ryan Carnigee is smiling at me. I walk down the front steps slowly. My smile probably looks more like a grimace, not that he is actually looking at my face. “Hi Ryan.” I say grimly; I hug my arms around my chest. That only just diverts his attention elsewhere. He has got to be the biggest creep on this vast stretch of beach, and I went out with him. I wish he would cut it out. “Hey baby.” He says and walks over to give me a way-to-touchy hug. I push him off me and laugh nervously. “What do you want?” I ask growing impatient. I really don’t want to see this guy; now, or ever again. “Oh come on now. Is that really how you want to start this?” He says trying to be sweet. “Start what? ‘This’,” I gesture between us. “This ended two years ago. You really need to move on.” He looks at me and sighs. “You know, I think about you all the time.” He says sensitively. I laugh at him “Sure, when you’re screwing all your sluts right?” I glare at him. “Oh my god. You are still mad? I told you, she threw herself on me!” He exclaims. “Yeah, the same day I went into town right? And I’m sure she just guided your hands all over her right? I'm sure she made you undress her when I walked in? Yeah, I totally see how that was her.” I say sarcasm dripping off my every word. He puts his hand on my shoulder, and I push it off. “You need to go, right now. Don’t try this anymore.” I say icily. “Babe c’mon.” He puts his hand back, this time around my waste, and tries to pull me closer to him. I struggle a bit; I'm about to slap him, when I hear someone approach. “Hey man, I think she’s right. You need to go.” Kevin says calmly and comes to me and immediately I'm free from Ryan’s grasp. He is glaring at Ryan, who is a lot smaller than him and is starting to look uncomfortable. “Yeah, whatever. Later Meg.” I roll my eyes and when he is gone turn I lock my arms around Kevin. He hugs me back. I notice that Joe and Nick are with him. I release Kevin and give each of them hugs. “I’m so happy you came.” I say to all of them, but mainly Kevin. He smiles at me sweetly. “Who was that creep?” He asks, glaring after Ryan. “Yeah,” Nick steps in. “What did he want.” I chuckle to myself. The three boys are surrounding me protectively. “He’s just this jerk who I dated for like two weeks last summer.” Joe looks at me quizzically. “You dated that asshole? You sure can pick ‘em.” He laughs and I punch him in the arm. Kevin and Nick laugh too. I hug Kevin again and whisper. “I can now.” I look up at Kevin, blushing and he looks a little surprised. “Guys,” I say to Nick and Joe, who are looking out to the beach. “Alicia and Terry are out on our beach. They would be so happy to see you.” I point them out. “It’s a good thing we brought our trunks!” Nick yells as they race each other there. Déjà vu, until Joe tries to get his t-shirt off and trips. Kevin and I laugh as we watch them. I turn to look at him. “You want to go inside?” I say smiling. He smiles and we walk into the house. “So, this is your beach house?” He says. “Um, yeah. My parents bring us up here every year. Since I was five. I'm just really sorry that it had to happen when you’re off.” We are sitting on the couch in the main room. He seems distant and uncomfortable on the end, while I am at the other end, my feet curled under me. I look out the window. This room has the most beautiful view of the street. Everything surrounds this little room, and upstairs you can see the beach through the windows. “It’s really nice here.” He says quietly. He doesn’t seem to be talking much. “Kevin, is something wrong?” I ask him. “It’s just…that guy. The way he was forcing you…” He trails off. “I know he’s into you. But you said you dated last year. I was thinking…” Oh no. This isn’t good. If Ryan screws up my relationship with Kevin, there will be hell to pay. “Kevin, Ryan was a huge mistake. When I caught him with someone else, that hit me. All along, I sort of knew he was a little too flirtatious with other girls, I just didn’t actually see it.” I say and I move right beside him. He looks at me, smiles and softly runs his hand across my cheek. I close my eyes. This feels right. I open my eyes and Kevin is closer. I lean in to close the gap, but jump when Terry runs through the door. Kevin and I move away a little and look different directions. I try to compose myself, but I am incredibly frustrated that we just missed that kiss. “Oh, lame.” Terry says laughing, I look at Kevin and he smirks. She continues, “I'm really sorry, but Mom and Dad are walking back this way. I suggest you get Kevin out of the house before they freak.” She laughs again, and as we get up says “I won’t say anything.” Kevin says thanks, and I blush a deep red. “Could we maybe meet your parents? It might be easier to see you that way.” He says and holds me. “Yeah, c’mon.” I say. We walk out and are all standing on the beach. Kevin, Nick, Joe, Alicia, Terry and I all wait for my parents, and when they approach they look confused and a little uncomfortable. My Dad turns to look at my mom. “Hello. Who might these boys be?” He says. I roll my eyes. My Mom stands with her brow furrowed. She will recognize them soon enough as the boys who once took over Terry’s walls. “Mom, Dad, these are the Jonas Brothers; friends of ours.” I say. I throw my mom a no-embarrassments-look because I can see that she recognizes them now. Nick steps forward and shakes my parents hands. “Hi, its nice to meet you, I’m Nick.” Joe and Kevin follow, introducing themselves. We stand there awkwardly. “Well,” My mom speaks up. “Three growing boys must be hungry. Do you want to stay for our barbeque?” Alicia looks at Joe, Terry looks to Nick, and I to Kevin. “Will there be steak?” Nick asks and we all laugh. “Boy, what would a barbeque be without some steak?” Dad laughs. “I’ll call Mom and Dad and ask.” Joe offers. “Well, why don’t your parents come over too?” Alicia asks, looking at my parents. “I don’t see anything wrong with that, it’s a big house, and the more the merrier.” My mom says. “Cool, thank you. I’ll call them!” Joe says excitedly and he and Alicia walk over to the stairs. What kind of charm did these three amazing boys have? My parents treat them like they are family as they walk into our house. I make lemonade and watch as my parents, my sister, my best friend, and the Jonas Brothers all sit in the living room getting along perfectly. I look at Kevin, and he looks at me flirtatiously, raising his eyebrows. I laugh and walk over with the drinks. I grab a spot beside Kevin and quickly give him a kiss on the cheek. He smiles at me, and I really want to just jump on him there. I'm sure that only Terry notices the looks we’re giving each other, but I don’t really mind. I'm hoping that later, we will get a moment alone and I can share more with him. I try not to think too much about it in front of my entire family. It’s been about forty-five minutes and my Dad decides to start the grill. Nick asks to help, but brings Terry with him. I can tell that Terry is trying to be interested, but I know she would much rather just chill out on the pool chair with her iPod. So she does. Nick stays at the grill, and my dad lets him pretty much take over. Alicia and Joe decide to go for a walk down the beach. My mom, Kevin and I are all left in the living room. I am really hoping that she won’t say anything embarrassing. I don’t get my wish. “So,” She starts. “Are you two dating?” I blush and so does Kevin. I stare daggers at her, and she chuckles. “Uh…” Kevin and I say simultaneously. Thank God for Kevin’s parents because right then, they ring the doorbell. “Oh! Let me get that!” Mom gets up and goes to the door. Kevin and I exchange an uncomfortable look and burst out laughing. My dad comes to the door as well, leaving Nick to poke at and drool over the steaks. He seems to be doing a good job. Terry looks up as well. Dad glancing at Kevin and I as he walks by and we stifle our laughter. I get up and pull Kevin with me. “Meghan sweetie!” Mrs. Jonas says and gives me a hug. “I suppose this counts as dinner!” She laughs. “Hi Mrs. Jonas and Mr. Jonas.” I say returning her hug. I see a little boy stick his head out from behind Mr. Jonas. I kneel down as Kevin greets his parents. “You must be Frankie.” I say. He surprises me by running to give me a hug. He almost knocks me over. I laugh. “I felt left out.” He smiles. We all walk to the patio where Nick is now slapping sauce onto the steaks. I see Mr. Jonas walk up and pat him on the back. Nick greets his dad and smiles proudly. “He’s a natural.” My dad says, and walks over to them. Everyone has started mingling, and they all look very happy. Terry has rejoined the group and is chatting with Mom and Mrs. Jonas. Kevin and I slip away. When we get inside, I take his hand. “I want to show you something, okay?” He nods, and I lead him up the stairs. I hear him cough nervously, and I laugh. “Just come here.” I open the door to my room, and take him over to the balcony. “Wow.” He says in awe. The sun is setting and I can see the pink and purple reflection on the water. “This always makes me feel better. No matter what. My room faces west, so when I time it right, I can always watch it.” I finish and Kevin is looking at me, smiling. “What?” I ask blushing. “I wonder if you know how insanely beautiful you are…” He says. I blush a deeper red and lower my head. I feel his hand reach under my chin and my head lifts. “You are.” He says. My eyes dart from his eyes to his lips and back. Finally I just reach forward and softly kiss him on the lips. He starts to kiss me back, and my knees feel weak and my head is light, but I don’t want to stop. I lean into him, and I feel his tongue part my lips. I reach to his hair and run my fingers into it. We stand there, passionately going at it, but he pulls back. I am smiling uncontrollably. “What your mom said.” He says. “I would like to. I really just want to be with you.” I smile and wrap my arms around his neck and his fall to my waist. “Me too.” I say softly. “We should go eat dinner.” He says and I agree. We kiss quickly, fix our hair and run downstairs to join everyone outside. Alicia and Joe are back from their walk, and my dad is serving up the steaks that Nick grilled. My mom looks up and smiles at me. I smile back, proudly. Everyone is gathered around the table. I feel my phone vibrate. I look at Kevin and see that he is completely focused on the yummy steak in front of him. He sees me and smiles. I thought it might be him, but I guess not. I read the message. I'm not going away. -Ryan. I glare at the message and press delete. I really want to know how the hell he got a hold of my number.

Chapter Six! Um, I will just end up posting the rest of the story before I start the Nick Fic. Feel free to review. =)
Chapter SIX::::: I am uneasy. I'm running along the beach trying to relax. It isn’t helping. Kevin and the rest of his family left the night before last, at about eleven. I’ve shut my phone off because Ryan kept sending the same message, over and over again. I'm not going away. I finally got so fed up that I shut it off. If I run in to him, I am not going to be as reasonable as I was the day he stopped by the beach house. I gave Kevin the number to the house. I know he will probably question the unanswered texts, but I’ll explain to him somehow. It’s sort of cold. I'm half expecting it to rain today. The sky is overcast and I see what looks like storm clouds over in the west. I get to the end of my run and turn back. On the way back I see a figure and as I come closer I see that it is Ryan. It figures. I pretend I cannot hear as he calls my name, and I push myself hard to run as fast as my feet take me. When I think that I am finally out of his view, I slow down so I can breathe. By the time I get back to the house I am out of breath, sweating intensely and extremely tired. “Yoh sweaty!” Alicia says as I walk into the living room. I am too tired to even glare at her. I just plop down on the couch. “Wow. How far did you go?” She asks, a little bit of concern crawling over her words. “Just my normal stress route. But on the way back I saw Ryan and he was trying to talk to me, so I just booked it the rest of the way.” I say. My breath is finally returning, but my whole body feels like crashing. I close my eyes, but I feel a weight on my center. “I'm sorry for your inconvenience, but you are not sleeping here. It is seven in the morning so you can go back to bed. But do not leave your disgusting sweat all over the couch.” Alicia says, sitting on my stomach. I push her off. I look at the time on my watch. 11:30. “Okay, okay. I’ll go shower, but I don’t think I can sleep again.” I drag myself up the stairs and into the washroom. I open the door and lock it behind me. After a cleansing shower, I brush my teeth, and walk down the stairs, my legs still wobbly. Alicia has kindly made breakfast and I see that the smell has brought my sister right down from her bed. “Morning Ter.” I say waving to her. She looks up from her pancakes and nods lazily. “Here you go.” Alicia says handing me a plate. Yum, I think, just what I need. But why is she so happy? It’s like she stepped out of the fifties and into our beach house. “Mr. and Mrs. Parker! Good morning. Pancakes?” She says. I shudder and look at my sister. “Creepy.” Terry and I both say. Alicia giggles. Seriously, where did my sarcastic and shy best friend go? Terry nudges me and whispers “Joe.” I laugh and nod my head. After everyone finishes up, I do the dishes with the help of Terry, and of course the now almost overbearing Alicia. My parents are out back having their morning swim. “Is anyone going to tell me what the deal is with them and their boys?” Terry asks, throwing her dry towel on the counter top and folding her arms. Alicia and I are silent, and our heads are down. I pretend that I am trying to scrap food off the dish in front of me. Alicia is simply concentrating hard on the running water. “You,” she points to Alicia, “are obviously with–“ “Joe.” Alicia grins and laughs. “And you Meg? Are you and Kevin actually, officially together now?” She asks, smirking. “Yeah.” I say and I can’t help but smile, thinking back to the night I showed him the sunset. “Well, that’s wonderful, but I can’t understand why you turned your bloody phone off.” Terry says and pulls it out of her pocket. I flick water in her face when I reach to grab it. I dry my hands on my sides, and open it. “You didn’t reply to anything did you?” I ask concerned. “No. But you have a few missed calls from Kevin, and Ryan leaves you a new text every hour. Why is that creep still talking to you? I thought you said he got the message when he stopped by the other day…” Terry says. “Yeah, well he is being an insect and he will not stop texting me. It’s the same one over and over again. ‘I’m not going away.’” I explain as they both listen intently. Alicia ponders something and then grabs my phone. She presses a few buttons and hands it back to me. “I blocked him. Now he can’t call or message you.” She states. I reach to give her a hug. I feel stupid for not thinking of that sooner though. So, you know about us, but what’s the deal with you and Nick?” Terry looks down at the dishtowel. She doesn’t look insanely happy. “We’re friends!” She laughs but her eyes show pain. Something isn’t right. “What’s wrong?” Alicia says, beating me to the question. Terry’s eyes dart away, but she knows that she won’t be able to avoid the question. “I know that since I liked the band, I’ve been infatuated with Joe. But it’s not like that for me anymore. Now that I know them, and more so, Nick, it’s a different kind of feeling. I really like him, and I think he would like me the same, but he just seems completely distracted.” “Oh,” I say as we all walk over to the breakfast bar. “By what?” I ask. She sits on the middle seat and looks down and fidgets with her fingers. “This girl Kim. He told me that they went out, and things were complicated. They’re trying to be friends.” She says. I see the look in her eyes where she starts to get frustrated. “But he talks about her all the time. I want to be there to listen, but what I am supposed to do when I want to be the one he talks about? Is that selfish? Should I stop trying?” Her face is a little flushed. “It’s alright.” Alicia says, and we wrap our arms around her. “Maybe give it some time. He could realize that what he needs to move on is right in front of him.” She finishes. “I have an idea. We could all go out to the party at Lams.” I exclaim. Alicia looks at me wide eyed. Every summer, around the time we are here, the all ages club Lams throws a big summer party. It’s not a drab, dreary club, but on occasion the festivities get a little out of hand. I didn’t start going until last year, and that was the first time Alicia came with us, and she was there with me. It was actually a really fun party, and meeting Ryan there made everything better, for a while. “You think I could go this year?” Terry says perking up. “Yeah, definitely. But NO drinking.” I state. Alicia smirks. “You know, when I asked my parents they said the same thing, and it didn’t stop me.” I glare at her. She is definitely not helping my sisterly powers. Terry laughs. “I won’t be drinking, I promise.” She says honestly. “But, you need to call Kevin and ask. Because I'm sure he wants to talk to you, considering you haven’t called him back in forever.” I look down. It’s already one in the afternoon. I should call him. I don’t understand my avoidance of him after telling him that I wanted to date him, and well, us actually deciding to date. I look at my phone. There are ten missed messages, all from Ryan. I delete them all without reading them. I already know what they are going to say. I walk out of the room, glancing back at Alicia and Terry. I listen to my voicemails, both from Kevin. “Hey Meg. I can’t get a hold of you. Just wondering what’s up. Um…call me back okay?” I wince at the emotion in the “okay.” I listen to the next one. It’s from today. “Hey again. You know, it’s been a day, and you haven’t called or texted...is your phone dead or something? I'm not trying to be needed, its just you are my girlfriend and I would really like to hear from you. Please, please call me back. Oh, I lost the number to the beach house, so… sorry.” I smile. I'm his girlfriend and it sinks in that I am being a horrendous one. I dial the numbers to his cell phone. On the second ring, he picks up. “Hello?” He says. “Hey, Kev. I am so sorry that I never called you back. My phone died and I couldn’t find the charger. I got your messages.” I say quickly. Stupid, I think. Why did I just lie to him? Well, they were just texts, and Ryan isn’t going to be a problem, I won’t let him, I convince myself. “No, it’s alright.” Kevin says relieved. For a while we talk about what we’re doing, and what we did yesterday. He told me he and his brothers went shopping for the next leg of the tour. I tell him that I actually spent some time on the beach and got a pretty tan. I see that the conversation is starting to dull. “So, I was thinking. There is a party at this place called Lams. We were thinking about going. It’s tonight and it goes pretty late, but you should come if you can.” I say, waiting anxiously. “Anything to see you again,” Kevin answers, his voice husky. I smirk. “Just let me go ask.” I say okay, and wait. Alicia and Terry walk into the living room and sit down. Terry is on the floor, and Alicia is on the arm of the chair because I am taking over the couch, my legs spread out. “Are they coming?” Alicia asks. I shrug and tell her Kevin is asking. While they are waiting for a reply, they turn on Guitar Hero, and battle, playing Barracuda. Courteously, they have turned it down. Kevin comes back on the line. “Sorry that took so long. Hey, my parents are wondering if there is any way that we could just crash there tonight. My dad said he doesn’t want us driving back if it’s going to be really late.” He asks. My heart skips at the thought of him sleeping here. Of course, I realize it wouldn’t be anywhere near me. My folks wouldn’t let them. But the guesthouse was still available. “My turn, I will go ask my parents. In the mean time, here’s Alicia.” I say and toss the phone to her and run out back. My parents are in the deck chairs. “Mom, dad. I invited the Jonas Boys to the Lams party tonight, but they would need to stay here tonight. Would that be okay?” I ask, looking right at my parents. I know that if they say no, that is the answer, but right now I am trying my hardest to target some of my inner Jedi mind skills. “Sure.” They say simultaneously. I am surprised. “Really? Thank you!” I jump and reach over to hug them both; my dad chuckles. “Yes, they can stay in the guest house. Such nice boys.” My mom says returning to her sunshine and closing her eyes. I take that as my exit cue and walk to the door. “No late-night-bedroom-booty-calls though.” My dad says grinning. “Dad!” I yell, blushing. Alicia is talking to Kevin and watching Terry do a Solo on When You Were Young, by the Killers. I motion for the phone back after I close the screen door. “Well, your girlfriends back, so I will let you two talk! I hope we see you guys soon…Okay…bye.” Alicia finishes and hands me the phone. “Hey, so you guys can stay in the guesthouse!” I say excitedly. “Sweet! I cannot wait to see you.” Kevin replies. “Same here. You can let your parents know. The party starts at 8:00 and goes until 12:00, so see you here around seven thirty?” I ask. “Sounds like a plan. Bye Meg.” He says and hangs up. I put my phone away, jump on the couch, and kick my legs spastically. Alicia and Terry start laughing hysterically. I throw the nearest pillow at them, but they only calm down a little. “I'm excited! You two should be too.” They stopped laughing and are smiling ear to ear. They are definitely both excited. “I want to go swimming. Who’s coming with me?” They both jump up and we all run to change into our suits. I believe I promised Kevin a tan, and right now, mine is only slightly visible. We head out to the beach and grab the chairs. After a good hour in the sun, no matter how unhealthy I feel, I believe I have achieved my goal tan, along with a perfect ocean swim. When we get back inside my parents are taking over the kitchen making something that smells scrumptious. I look at the time and see that it is already 5:00. We must have been out longer than I thought. “What’s that?” Terry asks my mom, peaking over her shoulder to see what is on the counter. “Its just the marinade for the stir-fry Sweetie.” She tells Terry and laughs as my dad comes over and mimics Terry. His head is on her other shoulder. Alicia and I laugh and walk upstairs to change. I love seeing my mom and dad so happy, and completely out of their business forms. Alicia goes into her room, and I walk into mine. I see myself in the full-length mirror. I think about how much I have changed in the past two years. My legs are longer, and don’t look like they belong to a chicken. I have curves, where I used to be completely flat, and definitely lanky. I can definitely fill a Bikini top now. Speaking of which, mine is a halter with stripes of red and white, but still covers a lot. I wonder out loud what Kevin would think if he saw me in this. I laugh at my vanity. I find myself twisting my hips, and doing model poses, so I just turn away from the mirror and peel off the damp suit. I fling it onto the floor, and make a mental note to pick it up later. I grab something nice that I can keep on for the rest of the night. I decide on a peach tank top with a high neckline that is covered in big white beads, and my favorite pair of short shorts. I head for the living room and see that Alicia and Terry are setting up Karaoke. I squeal with delight and grab one of the four microphones. Alicia and Terry grab the other two. “What song shall we treat your parents to tonight?” Alicia asks, and I hear my dad laugh from the kitchen. “I'm thinking ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!’” Terry says. “PLEASE NO!” My dad yells, sending us all in to a fit of laughter.

Chapter sevennnnn Enjoy. =D
Chapter SEVEN::::: We all agree and when the music comes on we belt it out. We all actually have pretty good voices, but when we want to, we can butcher a song. We do that with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, laughing our heads off the whole time. We finish with lame poses and, after intense pressuring, Alicia and Terry convince me to sing Heaven, by Brian Adams. I actually try this time, and it comes out pretty nice. We sing and guitar hero for another hour, and my mom calls us all for a six o’clock supper. The stir-fry is delicious, and along with it, my dad has prepared fillets of salmon. I could not possible have another bite, so I push my plate away, and I listen to my parents lecture Terry about the party. Alicia and I have our own little conversation. “You don’t think Ryan is going to be there do you?” She says quietly. I glance at my sister who is smiling and nodding her head. She is doing the same thing I did last year. I think about Alicia’s question, which is completely valid. “I suppose it’s possible, but I'm sure I’ll be too caught up in Kevin to notice. If he does bother me, I will just walk away and ignore him like have been.” I say this, but I am not sure if I am convincing myself. I know that I will be glad to have Kevin there either way. Alicia nods. “I am really excited to see Joe again. It’s like, from the day I stayed behind at their house, we just clicked. I really like him, and when we went for the walk the other night, we didn’t get far before we started making out.” She whispers. I laugh and see that she is giggling. My parents finish talking about the party with Terry just as the doorbell rings. I check the time and see that its seven fifteen. Close enough. All three girls jump up and race to the door. It swings open and reveals three sharp dressed, but beach appropriate boys. I open the door to run out and hug Kevin. He kisses me on the head and tells me he missed me. Joe picks Alicia up and throws her over his shoulder laughing until she screams for him to put her down. Her face is bright red and she is giggling uncontrollably. She kisses him quickly on the lips and hugs him normally. I smile at them. “Wait here!” Terry exclaims. She runs away an as the five of us are talking returns with a volleyball. “Anyone up for a game before we leave?” She asks stepping outside the door, smiling the cutest little smile. I reach over and pinch her cheeks. “Okay you little dork!” I say as if I'm talking to a three year old. I call out to my parents that we are going to leave early. We all take off our shoes and run to the net. It is always set up, but we haven’t used it yet. We play guys against girls, and we all laugh when the guys let us win. After the game, we grab our shoes, and start walking down to the club. It’s already busy and it looks like they opened early. We walk in and the place is packed. The band being featured is someone named Roonie, but they haven’t come on yet, so some DJ is spinning tracks. He has Rhianna’s ‘Umbrella’ playing and he’s mixing in his own beats. Its sound pretty decent. We all split off. Nick and Terry (although they both seem a little flustered) are with Kevin and I and Joe and Alicia have run off to grab drinks. Kevin is standing near me and we are looking for a booth. When we spot one, I run over to grab it. I pull Kevin behind me. We take up one side, leaving room for one more person. Thankfully Nick and Terry slide in on the other side. As we all start to talk, the tension in the air has dissipated. Nick’s phone goes off, and he answers it with an apology in his eyes. “Hello?... Yeah… Just hanging out with some friends… yeah, she’s here, so?...” Nick is talking quietly but we can all hear him, and are sort of watching him talk. He notices, and blushes. He slides out of the booth. “I’ll be right back.” He says away from the phone, and walks over to the main entrance. “I bet you anything its Kim.” Terry says sighing. My poor sister. “Nick does like you Terry. He’s just in a weird phase with Kim right now. You know, getting over a relationship and trying to be friends.” He reaches over and pats her hand. He is being so sweet, but it doesn’t seem to cheer her up much. “But I’ll make sure that he knows you’re not just some form of relief from it.” He says and pounds his fist into his other hand. She laughs and thanks him. Joe and Alicia finally arrive with some drinks. “Coca-Cola’s all around” Joe says putting the tray down. “Where did Nick go?” He says as he slides in beside Terry; Alicia is across from him. “Kim called.” Kevin answers and points to the main entrance. Joe grunts. “Why don’t they end it already? The friends thing is not making things easy for anyone.” Joe reaches and puts an arm around Terry. “Thanks Joe, but it’s his life, not mine. I think Nick just wants to be friends right now.” Terry smiles and asks him to move. “I think I’ll go dance.” She says when she slides out. “We’ll come with you!” I tell her. Alicia moves so that Kevin and I can slide out. As much as I trust my sister, I don’t know what kind of creeps are around this place and I don’t want her out there by herself. I check the time and see that the band is being introduced. “Oh, great, lets go!” I say pulling her and Kevin to the dance floor. “Everyone please welcome, ROONIE!” The announcer yells into the microphone. The crowd is screaming. I see Nick walk over to my sister and apologize. Kevin and I create some distance between the two. I watch as she hugs him and they start dancing when the vocalist starts singing. Kevin and I pick up the beat and start dancing. I glace over to Alicia to try and wave them over, but they are macking in the corner of the booth. I just avert my eyes and dance with my boyfriend. When the beat slows down, I wrap my arms around Kevin’s neck and feel his slip down to my waist. I reach my head up and put my lips to his. He kisses me back softly. When the slow song is finished I ask Kevin if we can go sit. I can’t see Nick or Terry anymore, but I assume they are together. As we approach, Joe and Alicia are still going at it. I pretend to trip into the table, but I end up actually tripping. I smack my nose on the seat of the booth hard enough for it to start bleeding. At least I get Joe and Alicia to stop. Kevin helps me up and when he sees the blood, frowns with worry all over his face. “Shit!” I Alicia yells and jumps out of the booth. She grabs my arm while I'm holding my nose and runs my to the bathroom. I grab a million paper towels and hold them against my nose. “Damn it. That was the worst fake interruption every.” I say looking at the blood on the paper towel. “You could have coughed.” Alicia laughs. “We would have heard.” She is laughing harder now. I grab her a paper towel and hand it to her. “You have lip gloss all over your mouth.” I say, smiling. “Did you have fun dancing?” She asks, wiping her mouth while I keep the paper on my nose. “Oh, so much fun, not that you really noticed.” I make kissy faces at her and she rolls her eyes. “Have you seen Terry or Nick?” I ask, realizing it has been a while since I have. “Not really…” She says. “I wasn’t really paying attention…” She is blushing a deep red. “Its alright. You two are so cute. But do you think everyone would be upset if I asked to go home?” I say pointing to my nose. The pain is running up and down the bridge, but I don’t think it’s broken. “Nah, I'm sure the boys won’t mind. Has it stopped?” She asks. I remove the paper towel. It has pretty much stopped, which is a good sign. “I think yeah. I should lay down when we get home, huh?” She smiles sympathetically and nods. “Kay, lets go.” I open the door and we walk back towards the booth. As we approach, I notice a girl beside Kevin. She is right up against him and Kevin looks extremely uncomfortable. Joe has disappeared, and Kevin is by himself with her. I come a little closer and Alicia sees it too. She gasps at the same time I register the face. Her name is Annie and she is the same slut who I found with Ryan the night I broke it off. My head starts spinning, and for a moment I feel sick, but when I see her reach up to Kevin’s hair, the spinning turns into pure, solid anger. I walk up to the table and slam my fist down. How can he sit there and do nothing. “Sorry to interrupt. Nice to see you found my boyfriend AGAIN. You whore.” I glare at Annie, and she takes a minute but then she realizes who I am. She looks terrified and I turn to Kevin. “I’m going home.” I nearly yell I grab Alicia and we walk away. My voice is shaky from anger. Kevin pushes around Annie and tries to follow me, I run into the crowd of dancing people. I look for Terry but instead find someone who I would be much better off without right now. He puts his hand on my shoulder. Ryan is looking at me, smiling stupidly. “Hey, Meg baby!” I glare at his and push his hand off hard. Alicia spots Terry nearby, who is dancing with Nick, and we grab her. “We’re going home.” I yell. Nick looks confused and follows. I have three guys behind us. Ryan is closer than Kevin and Nick, and I can hear him calling me, telling me he wants to talk. We get to the front and Ryan grabs my wrist. I almost lose it. “Get your disgusting hands off of me.” I yell at him, hatred dripping off every word like venom. “When did you become such a bitch?” He yells back. “What the hell do you want? I am never going to be yours. It ended over a year ago, so get over it!” I scream. “Maybe I don’t want you.” He says smirking. I stop. Joe (I don’t know when he caught up), Nick, Alicia and Terry are all standing around us. Kevin is approaching. Ryan’s eyes move to Terry, and graze over her petite body in the sickest way. “Hey do you want to dance, or do you want to hang on to this fag?” He says gesturing to Nick. I don’t even bother to see anyone’s reaction to Ryan. I glare at him with even more anger building up inside me. “I could do so many things for you.” He says grinning. I feel Nick step forward and from the corner of my eye see Joe hold him back. “Let it go.” He mumbles. “Shut the hell up you asshole. You do NOT get to talk to her like that.” I scream, grabbing the attention of some members of the crowd who are closest to the door. He walks toward me. “You can talk to me like that anytime.” He says in a deep voice. He comes even closer and tries to slip his arm around my waist, but I explode, pulling my arm back and smashing my fist right into his jaw. I feel the pain jump back into my hand and see him fall to the floor. “Go to hell.” I say to Ryan. I look up to see Kevin behind him, shocked. At least ten people from the crowd are watching me, and when I turn I notice that Nick, Terry, Alicia and Joe are also staring, wide-eyed. I run out the door and onto the street. I don’t stop running, even with the throbbing pain. I keep going until I get to the house. I don’t bother to go inside. I go straight to the shore and sit. The water runs up around me, and my clothes get wet, but I ignore it. I rest my head in my hands and cry.

Chapter EIGHT:::::
I hold my head in my hand. I cannot stop my tears from flowing. My right hand is throbbing with pain. I have never hit anyone, ever. I think back to the club and how everyone stared at me in shock. I'm not as concerned with hitting Ryan as I am with Kevin and Annie. I don’t see why he would let her do that… I hear something behind me, and because I am still on edge, I whip around and jump up defensively. It’s Kevin. “What do you want?” I say angry and I turn around again. I hear his footsteps coming closer. I realize that he is right beside me now. I'm not sure he knows how much I want his arms around me, even with everything that’s happened. “What was that about?” He asks concerned. I feel his arm pull me close. “I could ask the same thing.” I say and slide out from under his arm. I walk further down the beach, my toes slipping under the sun. “Listen, I didn’t know she was the one who…She said she was a fan and asked for an autograph.” He says, following behind me. “Really? Cause it looked more like she was trying to kiss you. And you didn’t push her away.” I stop and stare into his eyes. “I can honestly say I tried. But I don’t understand why you think I would do that to you. Do you really believe that I could hurt you when I care so much for you?” I realize that he really means it. There is not a speck of dishonesty in his eyes. I fall into his arms. “Kevin, I'm sorry. It’s just that stupid slut already took someone away from me.” I say as he holds me. His body is warm and his arms feel perfect around my waist. The waves are crashing to the shore. I finally notice how fierce the wind is becoming.
“I'm not going anywhere.” He says and kisses me. The feeling I had after our first kiss returns. I don’t hold back, and I press my body into him. His tongue plays with mine and the chill of the wind disappears. I run my fingers through his soft dark curls and kiss him harder. He kisses me back, his hands grasping the side of me. I stop for air. Our breathing is heavy. “Could we go inside?” I ask quietly. He smiles and we run into the house as the winds become wilder. As soon as we are through the door, I press my body to the wall and pull Kevin against me. His warm body is there, embracing me as we kiss. I haven’t felt like this in forever. The feeling is even more powerful than our first kiss. Kevin slows his kisses and pulls away from my lips. My eyes are still closed when I feel him move away from my body. I open them and see his spectacular hazel eyes locked on mine. “I think –“ He starts. Joe turns into the entrance hall and sees Kevin and I. He surprises me by pulling me into a brotherly hug. Over Joe’s shoulder I can see three worried faces. “Thank God you’re okay.” He releases me and exclaims. I smile at him. “I’m okay now. Guys, I'm really sorry that I ruined the party for you.” I say looking down at my bare feet. “Are you kidding? That was insane. Not that I'm for fights” Nick says, pausing to look at Kevin. “But man, you have a killer right hook!” Everyone laughs and the mood instantly feels lighter. A crash of thunder strikes and Alicia and I scream. I jump into Kevin and he holds me tight. The power is out. “Kids?” My dad yells coming down the stairs with a flashlight. “Is everyone alright?” “Its just a power outage Dad.” Terry says assuming the role of calm and collected. However, I can see through the dim light and I notice she and Nick have their hands linked. I smile up at Kevin, and he strokes my hair. “Alright, well, I think everyone should head in anyways. Hopefully the storm passes and you boys can get home safely. If not you can stay here until it’s over.” My dad continues, every once and a while reaching up to comb his hair through his hands. “Boys, I don’t want you in the guest house. I’ll run and grab some sleeping bags and you can crash in the living room.” He finally breathes and walks back upstairs, leaving us in the dim light. We hear a giggle, and smacking and turn to see Joe and Alicia huddled up together kissing. “Guys.” Kevin says. “Even if it’s hard to see you, it’s impossible not to hear you.” I laugh and lean into Kevin’s side. Joe and Alicia straighten up. My dad gathers three sleeping bags and three extra pillows and tosses them down to Kevin, Nick and Joe. We set them up in the living room, and after each of us say goodnight Alicia, Terry and I all head upstairs to our own beds. The storm is violent and I walk to my balcony window to watch the waves beat against the shore violently. It reminds me of my rage and my sore hand. The pain has since subsided, and I feel stronger. Physically, because I would have never thought I could do something like that, knocking someone to the ground, and emotionally for overcoming a creep like Ryan, and standing up for my self and my little sister. I take off my damp shorts and little tank top and crawl into my warm bed. The sound of the rain does not keep me up, and I sleep soundly, except for a small interruption. The clash of thunder opens my eyes. It is still dark, and only two in the morning. I remember falling to my bed at around 12:00am. I hear familiar voices down the hall and an “ouch!” I ignore it all, roll over in my bed, and close my eyes. My mind spins with the sound of the rain, and I'm gone. The dream is crystal clear. Kevin is driving away from me in a black car. I feel my feet lift off the ground, and as I cannot move though I try my hardest to run after him. I kick so hard that I wake myself up. I see the light pouring through the curtains. I turn my torso to see the time. I jump up. It’s 12:07pm. I quickly run my fingers through my hair, but give up because of the knots. I pull it back into a messy bun and throw on some sweats and a Seventh Rain band shirt. “Morning!” I yell as I run down stairs. I hear moans coming from the living room. I guess I am not the only one up late. I walk into the living room and see the three sleeping bags sprawled out on the carpet. I walk over to Kevin and sit beside his sleeping bag. He opens one eye and peaks at me. I roll him over and laugh. “Hey!” He yells, grabbing me and pulling me down beside him. He struggles to get his arms out before I can pull myself up and locks them around me. He laughs as I struggle to pull away. I finally give in and roll over to snuggle into him. I smile into his strong chest. “Good morning sunshine.” Alicia says kicking me in the butt.
“Ugh. Alicia! You totally ruined my morning hug!” I laugh and Alicia pulls me up as Kevin lets go and gets himself up. Alicia walks over to Joe and puts her foot on his stomach. “UP!” She commands. She looks around as Kevin and I laugh at Joe, who is trying to stand up with his sleeping bag on. “Where are Nicholas and runt?” She demands. We all look around. They are nowhere in sight. Kevin is helping Joe out of his sleeping bag and I just give Alicia a shrug. “I'm sure bacon will bring Nick down.” Kevin suggests. I know this is only for his benefit, but I nod in agreement. I'm starving. I skip over to the kitchen freezer and pull out some slices of bacon. Kevin grabs the frying pan from the hanger and puts it on the burner. In goes the bacon. While we wait for the bacon, Nick and Terry appear together. “Where were you two?” Joe inquires. We all look at them and wait for the answer. “I was in my room.” Terry says and walks to the cereal cupboard. “Where were you Nick?” She grins. We look back to Nick. He looks down. “I slept by the window upstairs. I love storms.” He smiles and looks back up. They are straight out lying, but I seem to be the only one who picks it up. Everyone else shrugs and gets back to their breakfast. Kevin and I gobble up the bacon while everyone else opts for cereal. “What time are we leaving Kev?” Joe asks reading the paper. Alicia points to something and laughs. I glance over. The comics. I roll my eyes and smile. “Mom and Dad want us home before 3:00. They need us home for something. We can leave in half an hour” Kevin says looking curiously at an issue of Modern Business that my dad has left on the counter. Speaking of dad, where are my parents? “Hey Ter?” I ask. She looks up from her bowl of Corn Pops. “Where are Mom and Dad?” “Um, I think I heard them outside a minute ago.” She says and concentrates on her breakfast. I walk out to the patio where my parents are tanning. “Morning sweetie.” My mom says as I walk up to them. She really does know how to tan evenly, and reasonably. “The guys are leaving in half an hour. Thank you for letting them stay the night.” I smile and hug them both. They laugh, and return to tanning. “Anytime. They are wonderful boys. Tell them we said goodbye.” My dad says before sliding his shades on. “Okay.” I mumble and walk inside. After the guys go home, we gather the sleeping bags and pillows and put them away. We spend our day at the shore, collection shells, playing volleyball and tanning of course. I volunteer to make dinner and come up with a delicious collection of Cod, and steamed vegetables. After the plates are cleared off the table everyone returns and we sit and chat for a bit. My parents talk animatedly about work, mostly to each other, throwing glances our way once in a while. They turn our attention to us when they finish talking about one of the new prospects at my moms company. “So, kids we need to ask you something.” My mom says to us. Alicia, Terry and I are listening patiently. “Would you all be comfortable if we headed home tomorrow?” I have a meeting tomorrow about the new quarter of the hospital that they want to introduce to the hospital. It’s a big project and I would be home a lot, but the access to files would be much easier if I was near them.” My dad says. Alicia says its fine with her. “Sure Dad.” I say. “It was really nice being out here, but if you need to go home, we should all go. In case you need support or any help.” I smile. I will miss the house, but I think it’s great my dad is looking at an expansion for the hospital. “Yeah Dad. We can pack tonight!” Terry smiles sweetly. “Well, who would have thought I would be blessed with two amazing girls and their equally amazing best friend?” My Dad says beaming. All of the girls including my mom laugh. Terry, Alicia and I all get up. We race each other up the stairs and run into our rooms. I grab my suitcase and start to pack. I stop for a moment and grab my phone. I sit on the edge of my bed and pull up Kevin’s number. I know he will be elated when I tell him that we can spend the rest of his week off together without him driving an hour to the beach house. I send the text. (The bold is Kevin.) Hey Kev! Guess what? Hey Sweetie. What? I’m leaving tomorrow! =) …So am I =(
