Had a new idea for this story, hence, why it's moved to JB fanfics
Once upon a time, there was a girl named, Skye Mellows. She had big green eyes, and beautiful brown hair. She was born to her parents, Jon and Susan on November 10th, 1989. They were very loving parents, who would do anything and everything for their only child.
She had a perfect life in Maine, her dad worked in an assembly line, putting cars together, and her mom used to model, before settling down to have a family. Everyone always said that she looked identical to her mother, except her eyes, she had her father's eyes.
Her mom always told Skye that she was going to be a star, seeing her name in lights, sold out concerts, big box office hits, go platinum, and have lots of fans. You see, Skye always had a dramatic side to her, she would always put on shows for people, singing and dancing, reciting lines she memorized from her favorite TV shows and movies. She loved being the center of attention, she thrived in the spotlight. Like every child, her parents made sure she was raised right, with family values, respect, knowing responsibility, manners, and loving everyone for who there are. But sometimes, life works in mysterious ways.
For her birthday, Skye's dad sent Susan away to a spa for the day. He took Skye to his parents house, and then went to go back home to spend the night with Susan. But when he got back to their home, he walked in on a terrible sight. Susan was at the bottom of the steps blood coming for a wound in her head. She had fallen down the stairs earlier that day, but since no one was home, she bled out and passed away, the love of his life, and mother of their seven year old daughter was gone. Skye didn't know how to respond, her dad told her that her mom went back home to be with the angels, and that they would see each other again one day.
A month later, they moved from that house to another one, her dad couldn't stand to live in the house where she died. On their first night in the new place, Skye laid in the backyard and looked up at the night sky, with the stars scattered and twinkling. Her dad told her that during the night, her mom would stay in the night sky and watch over them.
"She's like a star," she told her father amazed.
For the first time since the death, he finally smiled, "That's right, baby. She's like a star, she lights up the night sky now, just like how she would light up our life with her smile. Just like you do."
While lying out in the grass, she saw a shooting star fly across the sky, and she knew it was her mom telling her to make a wish.
"I wish that I could be a star, like mommy always told me I would be," she whispered, watching the star disappear.
Not long after that, her wish did come true. Actually, scratch that.
Not long after that, my wish came true.
