Alright, before you read this, if you haven't read the corresponding Kevin Fic, go do that. =) Or...you can read this and THEN that. =D EITHER WAY.. hahaha Enjoy.
Chapter One~
“Mmph.” I mumble turning over in my bed. Summer wasn’t supposed to include the smell of drying paint and now I can feel a headache from it. I open my eyes and crawl out of bed. I smile when I see the wall of Jonas in front of me. It took me two years to do, but I successfully managed to gather every beautiful picture of the three singers, and pin them to my bland walls. “Good morning!” I say to the boys. I'm not a stalker fan or anything close to that, but I really like the pictures of them and their amazing music. “Rain again?” I say out loud as I walk to my window and peer through the curtains. “Something’s going to happen.” I mumble and open my closet. I pull on some green sweatpants and a bright yellow graphic tee. I walk out the door to the stairs. It’s 12:00pm, and I'm half surprised to not see my sister up and about. I reach to the cereal cupboard and grab some corn pops. I quickly gobble up every little round ball of sugar and clean up my dishes. I walk to Meghan’s room and check on her. Her hair, the same golden blonde as mine, is splayed out on her pillow, and her leg is hung over the back of her bed. I think that some Starbucks would be good for her right now. I walk over and quietly grab her purse from the chair at the end of her bed. I sneak back out of her room, and down to the kitchen island. I open up the beautiful hand distressed leather bag and rummage through a bit. I see a Starbucks recipe loosely in her bag. I pull it out, knowing that would probably be her order from yesterday. I see writing on the back of it and flip it over. When I see the writing, I force myself to do a double take. The writing is a beautiful cursive. Kevin Jonas =) (is really really sorry.) Call me sometime, and I’ll make it up to you. 569-5505 =) I can’t do anything but stare at the little piece of paper. Suddenly I hear voice yell. “What the hell do you think you’re doing in my stuff?” Meghan says, glaring at me, which she should so not be doing right now. “How do you just not tell their biggest fan you have their freaking number!?” I cry, shock ringing through my words. Meghan’s face softens and she laughs at me. “Terry, it’s not a big deal I-“ She starts, but I cut her off. “How did you even get it? It’s just so insane.” I look back down at the receipt that Kevin Jonas has written on, the actual Kevin Jonas. Meghan walks around the kitchen, preparing a bacon and egg lunch. She tells me everything that happened in a few sentences. “Alicia and I were walking to Starbucks, Alicia distracted me, the Starbucks door swung open and knocked me out, and when I woke up, Kevin Jonas was standing in front of me.” She laughs and moves her bangs out of her face, showing me a huge goose egg on her head. We eat our lunches, even though I have already had some cereal. After I calm myself down from the fit of laughter I have just been through, I push the phone to her. “Call him.” I say. “Now.” “Isn’t it sort of early?” She looks at the time. “Okay, so, maybe 12:45 isn’t early, but he’s probably busy doing music business stuff…” I roll my eyes. She has Kevin Jonas phone number, and she won’t call him back? I grab the phone and look at the number to dial. I throw the phone to her, and hear a voice on the other end. “YOH!” Is all I can hear. My stomach does a flip. Maybe it’s Joe! I feel like I am having trouble breathing. “Uh, hi. Um, Kevin?” She asks. Her face is going red, but she is glaring at me. “Uh-huh” She mumbles. While I try to control my breathing, I also strain to hear the voice on the phone. I think he says something about a name… “Say something cute!” I say. My eighteen year-old sister should really be a pro at this by now. “Tell him its yesterdays victim.” She says smirking. I smile and nod my head. Not bad, I think to myself. I can clearly hear the boy yell “Kevin, it’s yesterdays victim!” and Meghan and I laugh. After a minute, someone else is on the line. I can’t hear what they are saying though. Man this is frustrating. “It’s Meghan” She waits. “Large.” Meghan laughs. I really need to hear this, but Meghan is so focused on the conversation that she can’t see me signaling for speakerphone. I put my ear to the phone to hear. “I should have listened to you advice and put some ice on it.” She says and rubs her head. Oh, well know I understand. “Well, I'm glad you called because I’ve been thinking of a way to make it up to you.” Kevin says. I don’t believe that I can hear Kevin’s voice through something other than a radio! Meghan smiles and then she walks away from me with the phone. I throw up my arms. It just got interesting! I run to try and catch her but she giggles and runs into the bathroom locking the door. Stupid sister. I take five loud steps in one spot, and slide down the back of the door stealthily. I press my ear against the door, and stick my finger in the other. She walks from the door. Crap. She is going to the shower. I wait for around ten minutes hearing a laugh here and then. Then, silence. Is she done talking? Did she hang up the phone. I hold my ear against the door this time, and it swings open causing me to hit the tile with a thud. Meghan laughs at me and walks over me. I grab the sides of her pants and yank them down. She moves and I run away upstairs to my room. Meghan comes behind me and jumps on me, holding me against the floor and tickling me so much it hurts. I couldn’t breath! “Mercy!!” I gasp. She lets go of me and I am able to catch my breath. She sits patiently beside me at the side of my bed. “So when’s the wedding?” She punches my arm playfully, but Ouch. She really doesn’t know her own strength. “You loser. If you really wanted to know, we’re going out tomorrow night!” She says happily. I clap my hands and yell “Yay!” “You know what you should do?” I ask her. “You should invite everyone over for the day.” I smile, thinking of how much fun Joe and I could have. We would fall for each other instantly. Mmm… his hands around my waist… Meghan talks and ruins my moment. She laughs at me. “I haven’t even had one date with Kevin, and you’re already planning your future with Joe.” I frown. It’s possible. “Well if you change your mind, I'm ALWAYS available to help out.” I say anyways, winking at her and she chuckles. Meghan looks like she is having an out of body experience the whole time she makes dinner. She doesn’t eat it, just nudges it with her fork. In my head I start to see a baseball game. “Beanner Green, pitcher for the Ivory Plates winds up the ball and, SWOOSH! (Alicia pushes a single grain of rice to the right of her plate.) Chicken Hearty sends the ball flying into the right field! Off he goes taking first, second, third, HOME RUN!!!” I smile at my thoughts. I look at my food, or rather lack of. I have eaten every little bit in sight. I really want some more of that yummy rice. I grab a spoonful. “We need to get you something to wear.” I say, bringing her back to the table. “Well, I guess. Maybe you can stop by the mall after school to grab some stuff.” Meghan says, clearing her plate away. I smile happily. We always have said that shopping does great things for a girl! Meghan finishes the dishes and walks into the living room. She turns on Transformers and I scream when my man Shia LaBeuf comes on the screen. I nearly choke when I gulp down the rest of the rice. I leave my plate on the counter, thinking I will clean it up later. I hop onto our cozy couch, taking my favorite red satin pillow and hugging it. Into the first scene I try to say something to Meghan about tomorrow, but I become focused on the film and don’t know if she actually understood what I said. Later, I think to myself, ask later.

Alright, so I forgot to add this to the part before chapter one. In the first Head Over Jonas it was ALL Meghans POV, but this time we see the same events and lots of new ones from Terry's point of view. There is more drama here as well, but I haven't removed lightheartedness or humor from it completely. Also, I don't know the age range on who is reading this, but I do swear in it. I don't use the F-word and the worst are probably Shit and Bitch. I don't rely on swearing as a crutch though. So, without further adieu, Chapter two.
Chapter Two~ There are only a few minutes before I have to leave for the mall and I can’t find my wallet or my keys. I scramble across the house searching everywhere. I really hope that Meghan didn’t take them by accident. I run to my room again and throw the loose articles of clothing around trying to find the stupid objects. “Shit!” I yell running down the stairs for the fifth time. I feel like a complete loser when I walk into the kitchen because my keys and wallet are right on the counter, where I left them earlier. With everything I need, I lock the house and start down the street and out of the community. Our house is right on the street with the gate. Thanks to my parents, we live in one of the most beautiful and lavish neighbourhoods in California. My mom’s job at a record label and my dads position of head surgeon of the hospital have brought so much good fortune to our lives, and just in the past five years. We moved from New Jersey two years ago, and my parents have been busier than ever, keeping our finances strong. I know that there are celebrities around our house, but a lot of them are further up. We have never done anything crazy like randomly knock on their doors, but there are always a few paparazzi hanging around. That’s life in California for you though. I wave to the security guard Dan and head up to the bus stop. The bus is quick today, and soon I am at the mall. Right on time I see as I check the time on my phone. I walk into the front entrance and head downstairs. I still have my phone out and I punch the numbers into my phone. “Hey we’re at the fountain.” She says before I have a chance to say hello. I look around and see Alicia waving wildly. I smile, wave back and run up to them. “SHOP!” I yell loudly. I woman with a baby stroller and a few guys look at me and I smile at my strident antics. I see Alicia’s smile start to fade and man does she ever look worn out. Meghan hops up and yells “SHOP!” back. Alicia stands up too, but she looks pretty bad. “Ali, go back to my house and have a sleep. You know where the key is, we’ll just wake you up when we get home.” Meghan says looking sympathetically at Alicia. “Yeah, because that way, when we wait all night for her,” I say pointing to Meg, “You will be awake!” I smile gleefully and Alicia laughs. “Are you sure? I thought you wanted me to help you shop.” She says weakly. Meghan tells her to go home. When Alicia is almost to the doors, I grab Meghan’s arm and we start out shopping. After two hours of hitting almost every clothing store in the mall, I'm ready to go home. Meghan on the other hand still has all of her energy, which is insane because I know she spent eight hours working this morning. I don’t want to burst her bubble, so I put on a brave face and we go for another hour. By the time we get home I am experiencing major fatigue. I open the door and walk inside. Alicia is passed out on the couch. Meghan runs and jumps on her and Alicia wakes up yelling “ouch!” I pull out the little blue cardigan that we bought and hand it to her. She smiles and feels the material. Thanks, she mouths to me. I smile in return. While Meghan gets ready, Alicia and I wait patiently downstairs. After half and hour, we get really bored, so I turn on MTV. We stare blankly at the TV screen. Time goes by much faster, and the door bell rings snapping me back to reality. “Oh my God. Alicia, Kevin Jonas is at the front door!” I squeal. She laughs at me, but I am focusing on my breathing. I realize that I should get the door, and as I make my way slowly, Meghan runs down the stairs looking gorgeous. She shoots me a death glare and I get the message. I return to the living room but peak my head around the corner, just to see Kevin. I only get the quickest glimpse of him, and my sister closes the door. I feel a hand on my shoulder and jump. Alicia laughs at my edginess and I blush. “Terry I think that you need to understand something.” Alicia says, taking my hand and making me sit down on the couch. Alicia has always been my best friend first, but another older sister second. “They are just normal people.” I smile. “No they aren’t. They are three of the most amazing boys ever born.” I say proudly. “I respect them so much; their music, their lifestyles, their sense of respect.” Alicia laughs. “Okay, I see what you mean. If you did meet them, you want Joe right?” I nod and giggle. “Yes please.” She laughs. “That leaves me with…Nicholas right?” She questions innocently. “Ew.. he is like, four years younger than you. That is beyond wron-OH.” I smile at the message she is trying to convey. “You see what I'm saying? If dating them was at all possible, Joe is too old for you.” I frown. “But its not possible.” I say glumly. “Um, hello, Earth to Terry, I believe your sister is on a date with one of them right now!” I feel so stupid for forgetting that. Alicia changes the subject surprising me. “Terry, do you remember when I moved here?” That’s random. “No, that was before we got here.” I remind her. “Right.” She pauses. Why are we talking about this? “Terry, today is the anniversary of my parents death.” I freeze. But I have met her parents. They look like her, she looks like them. “What? No, I’ve seen your mom and dad, lots.” I whisper. “My mom and Dad died when I was seven, when I lived in Ohio. My aunt and uncle took me in after the accident. That’s who you met. I just call them Mom and Dad because it’s so natural to me.” She says smiling. Why is she smiling? “Oh. Alicia why are you happy? Why are you telling me?” I ask. “I'm telling you because I figured you should know. Meghan does.” She smiles at me. Meghan knew and she never told me. Maybe Alicia asked her not to. I suppose it wasn’t hers to tell. “I'm happy because,” She continues looking out the window to our back yard. “For the past eleven years, this day, the whether always sort of tells me things.” I giggle at this. “Okay, so what does today say?” She smirks tilting her head. “It doesn’t actually speak to me Runt.” She says using my worst nickname. “But, I think good things are going to happen. It’s rained for the past few days and now, the whether is beautiful and perfect. When I woke up, there was a ray of sun from my window right over my heart. My parents are here today.” Tears are building in her eyes, but I can tell that she is happy. I lean over and give her a huge warm hug. We don’t really mention the significance of the day again; we just sit, talk, drink tea, and battle on guitar hero. “Do you think they’re coming home soon?” Alicia asks looking at her watch. “I don’t know. What time is it?” “It’s ten thirty. I wonder what kind of things they’re doing?” She says curiously. We exchange glances and laugh. “I have an idea. “ I say and walk to the stereo. My soundtrack from Grease is sitting on the ledge so I pop the CD in. I turn it on to Summer Nights. For around twenty five minutes, Alicia and I dance stupidly around the living room while belting out the lyrics to the songs. Just as we start to do the Jive to “We Go Together” I hear a car pull up. “Ali, stop. Did you hear that? They’re home!” I whisper. She stops and we race to the living room window. We pull back the curtain slightly and see Kevin and Meghan sitting in his car. “What are they doing? I can’t see.” Alicia complains. “Well, move. I can’t pull the curtain back any further or they’ll notice the light. Oh! He’s opening the door for her!” I say as I watch Meghan step gracefully out of the car. They walk to the front door, and I have to turn my head and press it to the window. “Awe! She just kissed him on the cheek!” Alicia squeals with delight. I hear the door click and we run over to Meghan asking for all the details. She tells us that she talked to Kevin about touring and at dinner she couldn’t figure out how to use chopsticks. I raise my eyebrow. “Cool.” Alicia and I say at the same time. Meghan looks between us. “What? That’s all you’re going to say?” She asks. “Well, what else are we supposed to say? You never said anything about butterflies or kisses, or a second date…” I say. Alicia nods. Meghan starts up the stairs and we watch, semi-offended. She pauses and turns to look at us. “I don’t kiss and tell!” She runs the rest of the way to her room and Alicia and I squeal. We run into her room and jump onto the bed. Meghan laughs and tells us the mushy details, like when Kevin showed her how to use the chopsticks, and when she kissed him at the door, which we of course, already knew. “So do you guys want to come with me when I go over to their house tomorrow?” Oh my God. I don’t believe that she just said that. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” I scream as loud as I can. I get up and start dancing around the room! I'm going to hang out with the Jonas Brothers! This is completely insane! “well maybe you should leave the Runt here.” Alicia says. I stop and jump onto Alicia. “I heard that!” I laugh. “You’re not going anywhere without me tomorrow. I promise I won’t freak out!” I smile. “I'm not sure that’s something you can actually promise.” Alicia says and we all chuckle. 20 minutes later and Meghan is sound asleep. We’re all in her room and she and I are sharing her double bed. Alicia got it last time, so now its my turn. “I hate this floor.” Alicia says quietly moving to get comfortable in her sheets. I giggle and turn to face her. “You are really going to be okay tomorrow?” Alicia asks seriously. “Like you said, they’re normal people. They probably do the same things that we do. Okay maybe not all of the same things.” I say quietly. Meghan turns away from me. “Yeah, I'm sure they do.” She looks like she is going to fall asleep, so I say goodnight and let her drift off. My thoughts ring through my head continuously for the next hour.

Chapter three. I really don't give anyone time to reply, but you can always email me!=)
Chapter Three~
“Terry, MOVE IT!” Meghan yells up the stairs. I huff and check my outfit again in the mirror. I really wish that I were a little plumper. I have no fat or curves. The only things I’ve been lucky enough to get are an excuse for a butt and two small “A” size boobs. “Coming!” I say as I bounce down the stairs. Alicia and Meghan are waiting for me at the door. “What took you so long?” Alicia says and I blush. We walk up the street, and I can feel my hands shaking. I’ve hyperventilated before so I am really trying to control my breathing. Meghan hasn’t stopped texting Kevin since she woke up this morning. Its sort of annoying now. She constantly has her eyes glued to the screen. I don’t even know where we are going so I just follow her. Alicia is with me, but she hasn’t said anything. She has her iPod on, so now I have no one to talk to. Lovely. Suddenly, I feel a little more comfortable. I’ve met famous people before, and these guys are all around my age. They are probably just regular teenagers at heart. When we get to the house we all step up to the front door. When a gorgeous woman opens the door, I realize that no one is going to say anything. “Hi, I'm Terry, this is my sister Meghan and this is our friend Alicia.” I say politely. “Well, it’s nice to meet you girls. Kevin told me you were coming over. Come on in. They’re in the living room. It’s just down the hall and to your right.” We thank Mrs. Jonas and walk down the hall. Meghan nudges me. “What got into you?” I shrug and smile. We walk in and I freeze. Three of the most beautiful boys are sitting on their couch playing guitar hero. Meghan greets Kevin with a warm hug, and after she is introduced to Joe and Nick (who hasn’t looked up from the song he is playing) I poke her in the back to get her to introduce us. I definitely won’t. Alicia says hi first, and then I do, looking at Joe. Nick’s head swings up from the game when I say hi, and I smile. He is staring at me, and I can see his incredible brown eyes. I blush and look away. Kevin is taking Meghan outside to their patio. She looks at us and shrugs. “She totally just abandoned us.” I say to Alicia, who smiles. “So, are you guys fans?” Joe asks moving his straight bangs out of his eyes. I realize that Nick is staring at me again, but this time it seems he is just waiting for an answer. “Yeah, definitely.” Alicia says staring at Joe. How come she gets to be the confident one? “What about you Terry?” Nick says smiling. “You could say I'm a fan.” I say smiling flirtatiously. I don’t think I initially picked the right brother to like. “Speaking of which, I was wondering if I could get a picture with you?” I pull out my camera. “Yeah! We love cameras.” Joe says making me laugh. Alicia takes the picture and I put my camera away. “Do you know how to play Guitar Hero?” Joe asks us. Alicia and I exchange glances and laugh. Joe and Nick look confused. “Dude, I was raised on guitar hero!” I say to Joe. He laughs. “How old are you?” He asks jokingly. I blush a little but chuckle anyhow. “Do I look little to you?” I do a spin and Alicia and Joe start laughing. “No.” Nick says dead serious. I hear him swallow. I look at him surprised. “Dude, relax.” Joe says to Nick. This time all four of us laugh. “Well, if you are so amazing on Guitar Hero, then prove it.” Joe says handing me his guitar. “Alicia, care to join me?” I ask knowing the answer. “Well, duh. Where would you be without your bass player?” Alicia laughs. Joe and Nick move over on the sectional. “No thank you boys. We like to get the job done the right way.” Joe and Nick laugh hysterically. I set my guitar to Hard and Alicia has hers on Medium. “Here”, Nick says taking the guitar from me for a minute. His hand brushes my arm and my skin tingles. “Let me pick one for you.” He says challengingly. I watch as he flicks through the songs and finally he finds “Pride and Joy.” “Psh…easy!” Alicia says arrogantly. Nick hands me back my guitar and we start. The best part is when we get star power and raise our guitars intensely and then bump hips. Nick and Joe laughed so hard they fell off the couch. We finish with five stars and 99% along with a 256-note streak. “That was insane!” Nick yells and jumps to give us high fives. We laugh and then I hand Joe his guitar. Alicia hangs on to hers. “Nick would you care if I went again?” She asks pouting. “Yeah,” he laughs. “It will give me time to get to know Terry better.” He smiles at me and I blush. As Joe and Alicia start up “When You Were Young” Nick and I sit on the smaller couch away from the energy of Alicia and Joe. “So, that was pretty crazy.” He says referring to the song. “I told you, I was raised on that game.” I say proudly. “I see. What else were you raised on?” He questions looking directly at my eyes. I look away and see he is drinking a Diet Coke. I smile. “On the principle that if you’re going to do something, do it right. Like if you’re going to drink pop, you shouldn’t be a wuss and drink diet.” I smile and he tries to cover the can of pop. I giggle. “Oh, and just why is regular better.” He inquires. “Because, Coke was made to be enjoyed for all that it was, just like so many other things. Diet takes out the goodness of it, and replaces it with yucky aspartame.” I wrinkle my nose, a trait that my sister and I share, and Nick grins. “Anyways, that’s why I think regular is way better than diet.” I finish. “Who knew you could be so profound about something so simple.” He says sitting up on the couch. My legs are tucked under me and I laugh. “There is beauty in everything Nick.” I say smiling shyly. “I challenge Meghan to a battle!” Kevin says, startling half of us. “You’re on…” Meg says with her best concentration face. We all gather and watch their showdown. It gets intense and as Kevin furrows his brow, Meghan laughs. Finally the song is finished and Meghan has won. “PONED!” Nick and Joe yell making us all laugh. She pumps her fist in the air as Joe sneaks out the screen door. “Watch out!” Kevin yells and we scream as Joe points his super soaker at us. Mrs. Jonas hears the commotion and yells for everyone to take it outside. Kevin and Nick join in the fun and turn on us with water guns of their own once we’re outside. We run around yelling as the boys chase after us. I feel like I am seven years old, playing with my cousins back in New Jersey. We all laugh hysterically and Meghan falls to the ground. “Wait, wait, wait!” She calls through bursts of giggles. “UNFAIR ADVANTAGE!” Alicia calls. “Yeah!” I chime in. “Give us time to hide!” We tell them to turn around and count to twenty. They do so, but with suspicious looks on their faces. I look around for a spot to hide and throw Alicia and Meghan a look. Their backyard has no spots to hide. I spot the hose and grab it instead. Just in time the finish counting and I turn on the hose and soak them all. For a minute they try to get us back with their soakers, but fail. We are victorious and we give each other high fives. Everyone is laughing. I see Meghan cross her arms over her chest. Alicia and I giggle and do the same. “I'm cold, can we have towels?” Alicia asks. She is blushing a deep red. “I think they’re lying again. Besides, you look fine to me.” Joe says. He looks at Nick and Kevin and Nick smacks his arm. Alicia looks down, even more embarrassed, but she is smiling. I walk over to Meghan. “Did you see that? I whisper. She doesn’t respond. Nick comes back with towels, hands one to Alicia and Meghan and personally wraps mine around the back of my shoulders. I smile to myself. Wow. That was sweet. Meghan pulls out her phone. “It’s my mom.” She says as everyone looks at her confused face. “Mom, hi!” “I'm at a friends house, why?” We all stand there watching her. “Shit” she says away from the phone. I am interested so I move closer to listen. “Well, we’re home. And I am not happy. The house looks like a Stampede of cows ran through it, but apparently that was just you two.” Man she sounds ticked off. “Mom, its fine. I'm going to clean it when I get home.” Meghan says and looks at the phone leaving my mom talking. She tells me that they are home a week early. I grab the phone from my sister. “Mom, wait! You and Dad weren’t supposed to get home from New York until NEXT Sunday.” “Like I said,” My mom says angrily. “Surprise. I guess it back fired though.” Nick, Kevin, Joe and Alicia all sneak into the house. “Home now. You have a lot of work to do.” My mom hung up the phone. Meghan and I walk into the house with our towels wrapped around us. “We gotta head home guys. Our parents got back early.” She says saddened. “A week early.” I add and watch as the guys frown. “Are you coming Ali.” “Well, I was just talking to the guys, and I kinda figured you were going to have to head home, so I was just going to hang out here for a little while.” Alicia says smiling brightly. Meghan looks at me and I shrug. She seems surprised. I grab my little bag and say goodbye. Nick looks at me and holds my gaze. He smiles at me, and I don’t look away. His eyes are burning into mine, and I won’t pull away. Joe’s cough pulls both of us back to reality. “I’ll walk you out.” Kevin says to my sister. I walk out of the room and head speedily to the front door. Meghan says goodbye to Kevin and I yank her arm and we are out the door. “See you later Kevin! I love your music!” I yell as we run down the street to our house. I know where we are going home and I am keen to get home because I am still wet and completely embarrassed. We run until we see Mom and Dad. They look at us with concerned faces. “Water fight.” I say giving each of them a distant hug, as to not get them wet. “It’s nice to see you again, but why are you home so early?” “Well,” Dad says stepping inside the house. “We were thinking that we would all head out to the beach house for the next two weeks. We’re going tomorrow afternoon.” My mouth drops open and my eyes are wide. I just start to know the Jonas Brothers, and now I won’t get to see them for two weeks? That’s great… “Oh…” Meghan and I both fake smiles. “Well, I guess we better get the house cleaned up so it’s spotless. Don’t want a messy house when we get home. That would be terrible.” She says with a plastered smile. My mom and dad look at me expectantly and I shrug. “You should pack. Oh, and you can call Alicia and ask if she wants to come.” My mom says, already in a better mood. “Yah?” I ask. She nods her head. “Alright. Thanks guys!” I hug them again and head up stairs to my room. When I walk inside, I make a big decision. I pick up my phone and call Alicia’s cell. While I wait for her to pick up I begin to take down the posters of the Jonas Brothers that are covering my wall. “Hey Runt.” Alicia says when she picks up the phone. “What are you doing?” She asks. “I'm taking down all the posters.” I state. “What? Why?” Alicia asks surprised. “I would much rather be a friend than a fanatic.” I say scratching at the tape on my wall. “Ah, that’s my girl.” She says. I can hear her smile. “So, do you want to come to the beach house with us tomorrow? I know it’s short notice but…” I trail off. The damn tape will NOT come off the wall. I leave it and move to the next one. “No, no, no! Let me just call my parents.” I think back to the night she told me about her aunt and uncle. I think I will probably do that every time she mentions her parents now. She puts me on hold, and I finish removing the other posters. I take my favorites and pile them together on the top. I place them in a memory box my grandma had given me before she passed away. I plug my camera into the computer, still waiting on Alicia, and upload and print out the picture that was taken today. I look at my newly clear wall, and find the perfect spot for it. I tape the picture right beside my window. “Hi!” Alicia says coming back on the phone. “Can I come over in a few hours? Mrs. Jonas invited me to stay for dinner. I can pack some things and come over at nine.” I tell her that it’s fine and say goodbye. I gather a whole load of summery clothes, shoes and accessories and pack them into a medium sized suitcase. I swipe my book, A Million Little Pieces off my desk and start to read. I finish a few chapters and see Meghan walk into my room. “I called Alicia while you were scrubbing the hell out of the sinks” I laugh as she sits down on the end of my bed. “She is coming. I’ve asked Mom and Dad, and she cleared it with her folks.” I finish and Meghan jumps to hug me. I chuckle and she gets up. “I should go pack.” She says and I nod. Off she goes to her room. Twenty minutes later, another interruption from Meghan. “Kevin might come by!” She’s says obviously overjoyed. “To the beach house?” I ask. She nods. “That’s awesome! Is anyone else coming?” She looks at me, and her eyes pull the real question from me. “Is Nick coming?” I say smiling timidly. “You do like him! I knew something clicked! What about Joe?” I blush. “I like him, but I can’t see us together. Not that I think Nick I are going to get together,” my face flushes more, “but like you said, something just clicked. I feel really comfortable when I talk to him.” “And your posters?” She waves her hand in the direction of the wall. I see the look on her face when she realizes for the first time that the posters are no longer there. “What’s this?” She says walking over to examine the picture that would have paled in comparison to all the posters. “I took it today.” I say satisfied. I watch as she examines the picture. She smiles meaningfully at me, and I can see how happy she is, and how much my happiness means to her.

LONG CHAPTER... I didn't realize it until now..But, I hope you enjoy. Plus, I apologize for the lulls in the story. Every tale does have them though right? Like the part in Snow White where she is searching the house. Or in Cinderella when she has to get the laundry and things in her evil step moms house. Also, that part in - you know what, I'm going to stop now! Read and enjoy. Annie - sorry this wasn't up last night. Mom needed help building things. =D
Chapter Four~
Alicia is over now. She was half an hour late. She told us she took a little more time to say goodbye to her Folks. Meghan and Alicia are upstairs in Meghan’s room. They asked me if I wanted to join them as they did their nails. I opted for tea instead. I'm waiting for the kettle to boil, watching it intently. I am trying to disprove, if only to myself, that a watched kettle will in fact boil. I hear something tap on the glass and whip around, surprised to see Nick Jonas staring in my kitchen window. I reach over and open it. “Hey.” I say quietly. My parents are enjoying a dip in the hot tub out back, but I don’t want to be too loud just in case. “Hey.” He says smiling at me. “Um, Nick, why are you outside my kitchen window?” I chuckle. “Oh, yeah, I was wondering…” He looks around. “Do you want to come out here?” “Um, yah okay.” I take the kettle off the hot burner, turn it off, and put it on a cool one. It boiled. I’ll get you next time, I whisper to the kettle. I walk to the front door and step outside. Nick is waiting. It got sort of cold in the past few hours. I shiver. “Here, take this.” He is handing me his sweater. I take it graciously and put it on. It smells incredible. I silently inhale his scent. “So, how did you find my house?” I ask quietly. I feel bad for Nick because he looks cold now. He smiles at me anyhow, and I think I see his cheeks color a bit. “Um, I asked Kevin…” We laugh and he continues. “Anyways, I know you are leaving tomorrow, for your beach house?” He says looking at me. “Yeah?” I say prodding him to continue. “Well, I was wondering, if I could have your number. You’re really easy to talk to, and I want to know you better. We can keep in touch while you are away.” He smiles sweetly. “Yeah, sure.” I say. He pulls out his phone and I give him my number. “So, you’re mom and dad don’t care that you are out this late?” I ask, knowing that if I were in his position, I would be in so much trouble. “Well, they don’t really know. They took Frankie to The Bee Movie, and it isn’t over until around 10:00pm, and they won’t get back until at least 10:30.” He smiles the cutest smile. I look at my watch. It’s 10:00 now. “So, you planned this whole thing out?” I ask laughing. “Yeah, sort of. I wanted to ask you before you left.” He says sweetly. I reach over and hug him. His embrace is so warm. When I pull away, I have the strongest desire to kiss him, but for all I know, he could be seeing someone long distance, or he might not feel the same about me. “Um, well I know it isn’t ten thirty yet, but I should get home anyways.” He gets up, and starts to walk away, when I remember I still have his sweater. “Nick?” He turns and looks at me. I take his sweater off and hold it out to him. “Hang on to it. It gives me a reason to see you again.” He waves goodbye. I turn to go inside and slip on the piece of clothing again. I look at the kettle and remember I was going to have tea. “Nah. Not tonight.” I walk past the kitchen, flicking off the switch as I go by. I knock on Meghan’s door, and open it a crack. She and Alicia are sitting at the end of her bed doing their nails. “Goodnight.” I say sleepily. I go to my room and take off Nick’s sweater. I open my already packed bag and tuck it inside. I take off the rest of my clothes and throw on a tank top. I let my thoughts carry me into the land of dreams. ------ The first day at the beach house, I realize how much I miss this place. But we are here now, and I plan to make the most of it. Alicia, Meghan and I all race up to our rooms. Meghan has the one with the balcony. My room is actually facing the south, with a view of the garden. Nothing spectacular, but I love it anyway. Alicia takes the guest bedroom on the other side of the hallway. She has a view of the pool and guesthouse. After I put my clothes into the drawers I head downstairs. Alicia and Meghan are already down there with their bathing suits on. I smack my head. “Be right back!” I yell running back up the stairs. I throw on a pink bikini with a few blue polka dots and dash down the stairs, skipping the last few. “Ready!” I yell. “Then let’s go!” Alicia yells. Meghan runs to the living room to tell my parents we are going swimming. “Race you!” Meghan yells bolting past me. It’s 2:00 in the afternoon and the sand is scorching hot. “Ah! You win.” I say as the sand burns the soles of my feet. “Oh, come on Runt, its not that hot.” Alicia says prancing across to the shore. I walk cautiously to the shore and let my feet dip in the cooler water. I breath a sigh of relief. Alicia and Meghan and I are swimming around in the ocean for half an hour. None of us ever go very far out because we get too scared. The current can be pretty strong. I only go to my waist. I look through the water and see shells. I notice one in particular. I grab it and wash the sand off under the surface. The shell is a tiny, pearl blue ruffle shell. It is the most beautiful one I’ve seen. I take it and leave the water. “Where are you going?” Meghan calls after me. “I have to pee.” I yell back. Alicia and Meghan laugh, but I run up the wet sand into the house. I hose my feet off at the door and dry them inside with the towel. I run to the storage closet. I think Dad has a hand held welding torch in here somewhere. I rummage around a bit and finally I spot it. I look in the old craft supplies box and some beautiful leather string. I take the materials to my room, and sit down at the white desk. I turn on the torch, and burn two little holes on either side of the shell. I take the meter of leather string and begin to braid it intricately. I braid in the shell and add the leather ball and loop clasp. I open the secret drawer in my desk and place the piece of jewelry in it. “Hey you.” I hear my dad and wave him in. “Why aren’t you out at the beach with the girls?” He asks suspiciously raising his eyebrow. “I wasn’t feeling too well, you know, too much sun does the body…harm?” I say urging my dad out of my room. I don’t know how long he has actually been standing there. He peaks around me. “Is that my torch?” He asks grinning like a dork. I push him gently out of the door way and close it behind me. “No dad, it isn’t. Oh! You know what? Let’s make dinner for Mommy and Alicia and Meghan!” I say trying to change the subject. “What are you up to?” He asks knowing me better. “Nothing Dad. I promise.” I hug him and look up to see his face. He smiles down at me and puts his arm around my shoulder. “Okay, we can make dinner, but I want my torch back later.” He laughs and we walk into the kitchen. ------ Day two here and I am soaking up some incredible rays of sun. The beach is warm at 1:00pm. But I don’t go in the water for more than an hour total. Meghan and Alicia have dedicated today to tanning as well so now we all sit and enjoy the company of each other, and my phone. I feel my phone vibrate on my stomach and look at the message through my sunglasses. It’s Nick. Every time I get a message from him, I can’t help but smile and like him even more. The more I talk to him the easier it is to be a friend, rather than a fan. Of course, I still love their music, and them. I look at the message. (Bold is Nick.) Hey Sunshine. Hows it goin? Meh. Kev & Joe went 2 the mall w/o me cause I don’t feel good. Awe, wts the mttr? Do u mind cllng me? Sure. Just g2g inside. “Guys I have to go make a phone call.” I say to Alicia and Meghan. They exchange glances and simultaneously wave. “Bye Runt!” Meghan says. I roll my eyes and walk to the door. Why do they always have to call me that? I grab the landline when I'm through the door. I dial Nick’s number and he picks up on the first ring. “Hello?” He says happily. “You don’t sound very sick to me.” I say laughing. “I didn’t say I was sick. I just said I didn’t feel good. “Oh. Alright, so what’s up?” I ask sitting down on the couch. I look out back for my parents and then remember that they went to pick up groceries. “I just wanted to talk to you.” He says. “Well, what do you want to talk about?” I chuckle. “What have you been up to at the beach house?” He asks. “Um, tanning, swimming, relaxing.” I smile, leaving out the part about the beautiful shell I found. I plan to tell him later. “It sounds like you’re having a good time. Um, I really hope this isn’t weird or anything, but…” He trails off, and I wait patiently to hear what he says. “I sort of miss you.” My heart does a flip and I smile. “Yeah, I miss you too.” I admit. “Oh, hold up. There is someone who wants to talk to you.” I wait on the line, still smiling at the fact that he misses me. “Hello?” I hear a little voice come on the phone. “Is this Terry?” “Yes. Who is this?” I ask laughing. “I'm Frankie. Nicky wants to marry you.” I laugh hysterically as I hear Nick struggle to get the phone from his little brother. “Sorry about that.” Nick laughs nervously. I'm still laughing when I speak. “It’s fine. He’s cute.” I say. “Ha! Only sometimes.” I can imagine Nick glaring at little Frankie. “Nick I have to go, my parents just got home from the store. We finally have some decent food. You should drop by and eat some.” He chuckles and agrees. “Bye Nick.” I say quietly. “Bye Terry.” I wait for the click and hang up the phone. I look out the window to see my mom and dad coming to the door. I throw the phone down on the couch and race to open the door. “Have I mentioned how much I love you?” I say to my mom as she passes me with bags of delicious looking goodies. “Well, you’re going to love me even more, because you get to unload these.” She laughs, walking out to the car to close the trunk. “Yes!” I pump my fist to the air, but I'm really not excited. I unload the food anyway and when I finish I start to prepare dinner. Normally, I just ask if I can make our evening meal, but today I don’t bother. I grab some fresh chicken and start to whip up a lemon and herb sauce. I leave the chicken to marinade and sit with my parents in the living room who are watching some made-for-TV movie. I t gets really boring and there are still forty minutes left on chicken. I head back outside, still in my bikini and grab the beach chair I had before. “Who did you call?” Alicia asks as soon as I sit. “Just a friend.” I reply secretively. “Was it Deb?” Meghan asks. “No.” “Heather?” Alicia says, peaking at me over the rims of her Aviators. “No.” “Glen?” “No.” “Jessica?” “NO!” “Nick?” “Yeah. – OH man.” They laugh hysterically at their tactics. “How long have you been talking to him?” Meghan asks sitting up in her chair. “Since the night before we left.” I say blushing. “And you haven’t said anything?” Alicia says also sitting up. “Guys it’s not a big deal. We’re just talking.” I say, but I know that I wish we could do more than talk; that we could actually do things together, and be together. “If you say so.” Alicia says and we all return to our ultraviolet-ray-exposure. ------ “Alicia! Look!” I say pointing to the house. I can see three guys all standing around my sister. “They’re here!” I watch as my sister points to us. Nick and Joe come running towards us. Joe tries to take off his shirt but stumbles and rolls in the sand. Alicia gasps and runs to him. Nick reaches me and I give him a huge hug. “Hi!” I say surprised. “Hey!” he smiles back. “What are you guys doing here?” I ask as we walk to Joe and Alicia. Joe has made a complete recovery, now that Alicia is hugging him. “Well, Kevin really wanted to see your sister.” He pauses and holds my gaze. “I needed to see you again.” I blush and hug him again. “Are you two ready to swim?” Joe says to Nick and I. Nick pulls off his shirt and I can see his beautifully toned chest and abs. I look away, hoping no one noticed me checking him out. The waves are high today, and we all ride them. Laughing and swimming continues for about 20 minutes, until I spot two little dots approaching. I stop. I look at Joe and Nick who are trying to dunk each other. I look to the house and can see Kevin and Meghan on the couch. “Guys, my parents are coming.” I say to the three of them. “Should we leave?” Joe asks frowning. “I don’t think so. Just, put your shirts back on.” We all get out and I run into the house. I must have interrupted something special because Kevin and Meghan jump back and cough. Meghan looks the other way, and they are both trying to make it look like nothing is going on. “Oh, lame.” I say. I can’t contain my laughter anymore. “I'm really sorry, but Mom and Dad are walking back this way. I suggest you get Kevin out of the house before they freak.” They smile at each other. “I won’t say anything.” I say before I run over to catch up with Nick and everyone else. My parents walk up to us. My dad already puffs his chest out and looks over-protective. Mom on the other hand looks like she is trying to figure something out. I really hope she won’t say anything when she does. “Hello. Who might these boys be?” My dad says suspiciously. Meghan introduces them all as “our friends the Jonas Brothers.” I can see that my mom is getting excited and she throws me a look. Nick is the first to introduce himself to my parents, and when Mom and Dad see how respectful they are, my mom asks them and their parents to tonight’s barbeque. We all head inside to the living room, and Joe lets us know that his parents will be here in an hour. My Dad and I walk to the Kitchen and whip up a marinade for the steaks. “Baby, where is the lemon juice?” My dad asks. “Dad, you put the lemon in already. See?” I pick up the open bottle and we laugh. “Right.” I turn around and grab paprika. “Do you like them Daddy?” I ask handing the spice to my dad. “Do you?” He asks smiling down at me. “Dad. You cannot answer my question with another question. It doesn’t work like that.” I lecture. I love my dad, because I can always talk to him. “Yes, I like them. That one seems to really make you happy. Do you like him?” He asks and I stop with the pepper grind in my hands. I study it. “Yeah, I do.” I say softly. When he hugs me, I see Nick’s head disappear from around the corner. Oh, shit. He heard. “Well, if my baby likes him, then I definitely like him too.” My dad says bringing back to the moment. “Thanks Dad. Should we go out there now?” I ask. He grabs the pepper from my hands and gives a few twists. “Well, now we can.” He smiles. We walk into the living room and sit comfortably with everyone. My mom and Dad talk to the Jonas boys about their tour and where they grew up, not far from us, in Wyckoff New Jersey. I sort of tune out, and look at Nick. I realize he probably heard what I told my dad in the kitchen but he doesn’t seem phased. I guess he senses my eyes burning into him and he turns to look at me. I blush and look away. Alicia walks into the room with lemonade. She sits down beside Kevin and kisses him on the cheek. I'm not sure why they don’t just get together already. I guess the same could be said for Alicia and Joe. I look around for them, and then see that they have disappeared. They must have left when I was staring at Nick. “Dad, I think the steaks are ready.” I see Nick make a fist and elbow the air behind him. My dad laughs and gets up. “Do you think I could help sir?” Nick asks. “Sure Nicholas. You don’t have to call me sir to get in on the action though.” My Dad says making the five of us laugh. He grabs the marinated steaks in the kitchen and the three of us go outside. “Terry you want to help barbeque?” My dad asks me as he turns on the grill. He and Nick are standing expectantly by the stainless steal contraption. I see a chair and pull out my iPod. “Thanks Dad, but it’s nothing I haven’t seen before.” I laugh and lay down on the chair. I only put one earphone in, just in case someone needs to talk. I listen to my Dad and Nick talk about meat, and Dad shows him the techniques of grilling. I smile to myself at how weird it is that the Jonas Brothers are even in my life, let alone cooking my food. I hear the doorbell ring and my dad excuses himself in order to greet our guests. I look up at Nick. “Hey.” He says trying to be cool. He raises his eyebrows and holds the barbeque fork out to the side. I burst out laughing and turn back to my music. Mr. and Mrs. Jonas and little Frankie, along with everyone else (including Alicia and Joe), come out to join us. Nick greets them before me, and when the steaks are ready, we gather around the table. My mom has whipped up some potato salad and some other cold dishes. I sit and chat with Mrs. Jonas and my mom. “So, Terry, you and Nick really get along well.” I blush. “Yeah, he’s really great. I'm sure your insanely proud of your boys.” She smiles and nods. Nick smiles at me. He is so gorgeous, and sweet, and caring, and funny. I more than get along with him, I think I’ve completely fallen for him.

Chapter Five~
“Hey Terry.” “Nick, what’s up?” I ask. He left late last night with the rest of his family. It’s really good to hear his voice again. “Well, I need to talk to you.” I sit up in my chair. I am out on the beach watching as Alicia and Meghan ride the waves in the ocean. “Go ahead.” I wait. He sighs. “I know you like me. I heard you in the kitchen talking to your dad.” I stomach drops. “I like you too, a lot, believe me. But right now I'm sort of in a thing.” I'm shocked. “Wait a minute.” I say flustered. “You’re dating someone?” “Well, not exactly.” He says distraught. “Her name is Kim and we went out a few months ago. She ended it when she started to notice how busy I was. I really liked her, and lately, she’s been trying to make things right, saying she wants to give things another shot.” “Nick, you should have told me sooner.” I say disheartened. “I know. I really hope you don’t hate me now.” I don’t say anything. “Do you?” He asks concerned. “No, Nick. That’s not possible. I just really wish you told me before…” I trail off. I'm not going to do this to myself. “I'm sorry.” He says quietly. “So, when did she bring your relationship up?” I ask trying to be someone he can talk to. “On Monday.” I narrow my eyes. The day after we left. “And you’re considering getting together with her again?” I ask indifferently. “I guess, yeah.” He says regretfully. “Well, I guess you should do it. If she makes you happy, that’s what’s important.” I tell him truthfully. “Will you be okay?” He asks sympathetically. What is this? Will I be okay? Why wouldn’t I be? I roll my eyes. “No.” I hang up on him. Man, that was a bitchy move. I lean my head back and grunt. “Dammit.” I say under my breath. ------- I miss Nick. It’s been two days and I miss the boy. Ridiculous, I know, especially with the whole Kim thing. I also feel left out. I talked to Meghan and Alicia about it this morning. They both gave me hugs and told me to give it time. They are still overjoyed though. Alicia and Joe are dating, after a hot make-out session on that sunset walk they took the night of the barbeque. And Kevin and Meghan are a couple, finally and not at all surprisingly. What was surprising was the fact that she never returned Kevin’s calls or texts all day. I found her phone and confronted her about it. She didn’t want to look at her phone because Ryan Carnigee kept sending her the same creepy text message over and over again. Alicia blocked his number for her, and she took her phone back. In an attempt to get Nick and I to spend more time together, Meghan suggested we all hit the annual summer part at Lams tonight. After I received a lecture from my sister, she asked Kevin. She came back with news that they could only go if they could spend the night, and that Mom and Dad had agreed to everything. I'm not pumped at all. In fact, I'm dreading it. I try not to let on, and even butcher Girls Just Wanna Have fun with Alicia and Meghan right before dinner. After dinner, I get to listen to another lecture about the party, and drinking and being responsible, this time from my parents. I smile and nod, and take in everything they say. That information won’t go to waste. Alicia and Meghan are off in their own little world chatting away. When my parents finish, I hear the doorbell ring. Meghan and Alicia jump up and run to the door. I follow behind them. Joe picks Alicia up and doesn’t put her down until she screams. She kisses him and they hug normally. I'm glad to see at least two thirds of us are happy. Nick and I are looking away from the couples uncomfortably. In the distance I see the volleyball net. “Wait here!” I yell. I run to the closet and grab the volleyball. Back at the door, I ask if we could play a quick game before we go, seeing as the guys are half an hour early. Meghan pinches my cheeks, calls me a dork, and we run to the net. We all leave our sandals a little ways from the net. It’s guys against girls, and we win, but only because the guys have so obviously let us win. Laughing we all finally arrive at the club around 8:30 and it’s awesome. There is a DJ spinning tracks, and the band being featured is called Roonie. They haven’t come on yet. Meghan and Kevin spot a booth and slide in on one side. Alicia and Joe have run off to grab drinks. Nick lets me in the booth first. I smile awkwardly as I get in. We haven’t really said much past “Hi.” It’s getting frustrating. His cell phone rings. He answers it and as we all watch him talk, tells us he’ll be right back and walks to the front. I sigh. “I bet you anything it’s Kim.” I say to Kevin and Meghan. “Nick does like you Terry. He’s just in a weird phase with Kim right now. You know, getting over a relationship and trying to be friends.” Kevin says reaching across the table and taking my hand. Where does the “friends” thing come from? Nick told me they were taking another shot at dating… I guess he lied. I frown. “But I’ll make sure that he knows you’re not just some form of relief from it.” He says and pounds his fist into his other hand. I laugh and thank him. Alicia and Joe arrive with six Cokes. Joe inquires as to where Nick is. Kevin tells him that Kim called. Joe slides in next to me. He groans. “Why don’t they end it already? The friends thing is not making things easy for anyone.” Joe reaches to put his arm around me. “Thanks Joe, but it’s his life, not mine. I think Nick just wants to be friends right now.” I say putting a brave face on. “Can you move?” I ask. He lets me out. “I'm think I’ll go dance.” I say to everyone. Meghan decides that she and Kevin are coming with me. When we get into the crowd, Roonie comes on. I clap for them, trying to be excited. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn to see Nick looking sad. “What?” I snap. “I’m Sorry. Look, what I said on the phone, I was making a mistake. Kim isn’t good for me. She never was. I'm not sure why I figured anything would change the second time.” He says loud enough for me to hear. I stand and look at him. “So…” I say impatiently. “So, I'm saying I want to be with you, if you’ll have me.” He says as his eyes search mine. “Yeah, I think I could do that.” I reach to give him a hug. “Do you want to dance?” He nods and we start moving. I feel like everything bad has just disappeared. When the music slows down, Nick slips his hands around my waist. My body tingles at his touch. My tank top is thing and I feel the warmth of his hands rushing through the fabric. I put my hands on his shoulders, and rest my head there. His smell reminds me that I still have his sweater. I'm not sure he is ever going to get it back now. “Nick are you sure you want to get involved with me?” I ask, suddenly aware that he has to go back on tour with millions of beautiful girls in a little under a week. “What?” He asks and I lift my head from his shoulder. “Of course I do. Terry, I am so caught up in you, I can’t imagine anything else.” “What about the tour?” I ask looking away. Our feet are moving much slower now. “I mean, would you wait? You won’t be back for months.” “I'm in it for the long run. Are you?” He questions. “I think I am now.” I smile and we continue dancing. So I guess this means we are together now. Nick and I spend the next half an hour dancing with the music. I really like Roonie and the beat is so easy to follow. Suddenly, and sharply I feel someone grab my arm and yank me away; Meghan is dragging me to the door. Nick follows behind us. I pull my arm back but follow her when she screams that we are going home. I get scared because I don’t know what is going on. We are almost at the door when Meghan stops. Ryan Carnigee is holding her back. She pushes his hand away from her shoulder and yells at him. Alicia and Joe run over and stand beside Nick and I. I see Kevin looking around and I wave him over frantically. “Get your disgusting hands off me.” My god. I can’t figure out why she is so pissed off, but Ryan is not helping the situation. “When did you become such a bitch?” He yells back. “What the hell do you want? I am never going to be yours. It ended over a year ago, so get over it!” She screams. “Maybe I don’t want you.” He says smirking. Ryan checks me out, his creepy eyes grazing over every inch of my body. “Hey do you want to dance, or do you want to hang on to this fag?” He says pointing to Nick. My jaw drops and I glare at him, disgusted. Nick moves protectively in front of me. “I could do so many things for you.” He says still grinning. Nick moves forward but Joe holds him back. “Let it go.” Joe says to Nick. “Shut the hell up you asshole! You do not get to talk to her like that.” Meghan yells. Ryan moves in on my sister, mumbles something and I before anyone can step forward, Meghan punches Ryan in the face and he hits the floor. Meghan looks behind her at all of us, and runs out the door. “Oh shit.” I say. I really hope that she doesn’t go anywhere else. I start after her, but Alicia grabs my arm. “Let her go home.” She says. Realizing that it is Meghan, I think I know that she will end up on the beach at the house. Alicia nods in the direction of the boys. Ryan gets up. “That Bitch.” He says trying to get through us to the door. Joe and Nick advance. Nick grabs Ryan’s collar and shoves him against the wall. Alicia and I back away. Kevin approaches Ryan as well. I can’t see Ryan’s face, but I can hear the conversation. “Don’t ever go near Meghan or Terry, or Alicia again. If you even think about it, you’re going to immediately regret it.” I hear Nick growl. Ryan is three years older, but Nick is built better, and is the same height. “You don’t get your hands off me and you’re going to regret it you little Bitch.” Ryan yells. “Nick, let him go.” Kevin says glaring at Ryan. When he does I see Ryan shove Nick back. This time Kevin grabs Ryan and pushes him harder against the wall. “BACK OFF.” He snarls. I have never seen Kevin so mad, and I am a little scared. All three brothers are defending us, and each other. I grab Alicia and she hugs me. “Stay the hell away from all of us.” Joe says raising his voice. “What do you plan to about it you little Disney twit?” Ryan manages to struggle out of Kevin’s grip and takes a swing at Joe. He misses, but Nick doesn’t. He punches him and knocks him to the ground. “You’re going to be spending a lot more time down there if you don’t.” Nick says. We all see the security guard nearing us. Nick, Kevin and Joe all step back. I let go of Alicia and grab Nick’s waist. Alicia huddles into Joe. “What’s going on here?” The man grumbles, looking at Ryan who is crawling away with blood on his lips. “Sorry man.” Kevin says putting his hands up. “He got really out of line. It’s not going to happen again.” The security guard glances at Ryan again and rolls his eyes. “I understand. We’ve had problems with him before.” He says to Kevin, a little softer. He turns to Ryan and picks him out. “Get out. That was your last chance kid. Go home.” He yells. A few people in the crowd that have turned to watch look back to the stage as Roonie finishes up. “I think you should all head home before it causes a bigger scene. You don’t want your picture in the paper over this.” He says to Kevin, Nick and Joe. I see that he recognizes them now as the Jonas Brothers. Kevin thanks the man and we all head home. When we get there, I don’t see any lights but the one outside the door on. Mom and Dad must be asleep. It’s cold and all of us but Kevin quietly head inside. We all watch as he walks to the shore. Thankfully, Meghan is there. Nick is standing behind me. “Thank you.” I say and embrace him. He puts his hand against my head and holds me. “I wouldn’t let anything happen to any of you.” He smiles down at me. His beautiful eyes are bright again. I look outside again and see that Kevin and Meghan are kissing. They stop and run inside. Joe starts to the door, but Alicia and I know better. “Wait Joe.” Alicia says and chuckles a bit. We wait a minute or two, uncomfortably. The boys look at us confused, and Joe walks to the door. “Thank God you’re okay!” Joe says as we all run into the front hall. He hugs Meghan and then lets her go. I watch as Meg licks her lips and hangs her head. “I’m okay now. Guys, I'm really sorry that I ruined the party for you.” She says to everyone. “Are you kidding? That was insane. Not that I'm for fights” Nick says, and look at Kevin and Joe. “But man, you have a killer right hook!” I grab his hand and squeeze it when everyone laughs. I think he understands it’s my way of saying thank you for making her feel better. Meghan really wouldn’t understand the look that she saw Nick give to his brothers, but I'm glad she looks happier. There is an intense crash of thunder and a blast of lightning, and a scream from Alicia and Meghan. I jump and stumble into Nick who catches me and slips his hand into mine again. He smiles. The light in the hallway flickers and then we are all in the dark. Beautiful. The power is out.

Chapter Six~
I don’t let go of Nicks hand as my dad comes down the stairs. “Kids? Is everyone alright?” He’s flustered as he talks. “It’s just a power outage Dad.” I say trying to calm him. He stands on the stairs and tells everyone to head in. He grabs sleeping bags and pillows for Nick, Joe and Kevin. They all set up in the living room, and Alicia, Meghan and I all head to our own beds. I close my door, and walk to my desk. I open the little compartment quietly and take out the leather bracelet. I roll it over and over in my hands thinking. Are Nick and I together now? Is that what he meant at the club? What happened with Kim that really made him change his mind? Why do I feel the way I do when I'm with him? And the biggest question I ask myself: Am I in love with him? I gently put the bracelet on my desk and pull off my tank top and take off my shorts. I throw them down beside the closet and take off my bra. I rummage through my clothes to find Nicks sweater. When I find it I pull it on and do it up. The fabric is soft against my skin and I can still smell him. I lay in my bed for a full hour before I fall asleep. A light knock on my door along with a crash of thunder wakes me another hour later. I get out of bed and walk to the door. When I open it, I see Nick standing outside. “Yeah?” I say groggily, opening the door fully. When I do, the light from the moon falls on his beautiful face, outlining every amazing detail. He steps into the doorway and stops. “I couldn’t sleep.” He says and glances at my chest, I look down when he looks away and notice how incredibly low the sweater fell, not to mention one of the buttons came undone and the material is flapped back, showing the curve of my breast. My face is hot and I button it up and adjust it quickly. I look up to see Nick smiling at me. “Stop it!” I laugh in a whisper. “Sorry.” He says and I think I see his face turn pink. I grab the jewelry off my desk and walk out of my room with it. Nick waits for me and as I close the door, I stub my toe on the doors frame. “Ouch!” I say quietly and giggle. Nick takes my hand and we walk to the window. He slides down against the wall so he has a view of the ocean. “I love storms.” He says staring out. I slide down beside him. I feel a little uncomfortable, and realize that I could have put on a tank top underneath the sweater. All that’s under it now is my bare chest. I subconsciously pull up the neck. “So do I. At home, there is a ledge on my window. I used to always crawl up on it and slide the glass up. The sound of the rain beating against the roof, and the street made me melt. There is some sort of magic to rain, and its’ rhythm just holds you.” I look at him and he is listening. “Where do you come up with things that are so amazing?” He asks me. “Nick, I told you, there is beauty in everything, it doesn’t take much to find it.” I whisper. “I made this for you.” I say, showing him the leather bracelet with the tiny, pearly blue shell. “Thank you. Its really amazing.” I watch as he runs his fingers across the shell, and then the leather. “Wow. So you cook, apparently you sing,” I look away wide-eyed and wonder how he found that out. “You’re and incredible dancer, you own at guitar hero, you make beautiful things like this, and you drive me crazy. Is there anything you can’t do?” He whispers. I blush as he says ‘you drive me crazy’ but frown when I think of something. “I can’t imagine how much I'm going to miss you.” I say holding his gaze. “I have to leave in six days.” He says quietly to my comment. “Yeah…I know.” I wrap my arms around his shoulder and hug him. He puts his around me and returns the warmth. I look up at him and see his eyes are drawn to the water again. “Nick.” I say getting his attention. When he turns to me there is only a small gap between us. He leans down and puts his lips to mine. I reach up and put my arm around his neck, pulling us closer. I feel his hand slide to the nape of my neck and his thumb brushes it slowly. Our tongues tease and his lips are warm against mine. My hand moves from his neck to his hair and I push my fingers through gently. He leans into me and I feel his other hand fall to my waist. When we finally pull back for air, I smile. “I’ve been waiting so long for that.” I say looking him in the eyes. “That makes two of us.” He kisses me gently again and pulls away too soon. “Nick, I love you.” I say before I can stop myself. But I know that I haven’t said because I was caught up in the moment. Its what I’ve longed to say, and it doesn’t even matter if he doesn’t say it back, because I just need him to know. “You do? Terry…” He trails off. He looks tense. “You don’t have to say anything. I know you’re leaving and that things will be strained but I just need you to know. I need you not to forget.” I smile at him and kiss him feverously again. His anxiety disappears as he kisses me back. We don’t stop for long between each heated session. After a while, we slow ourselves down. “We need sleep.” He says looking away. There is another crash of lighting, but it is further away, and the thunder follows a while after. I lean my head against his shoulder, and feel his head fall to mine. His arms are around me. I know that he cares for me, and I am a little disappointed that he never returned the I Love You, but things still feel right. My mom wakes me up and surprisingly I am in my own bed. I can feel the sweater against my skin, and realize that more than enough buttons are undone, and my breasts are visibly out. I pray that if that happened last night, it was from rolling around in my bed, and that Nick hadn’t seen anything. “Sweetheart, you should get up. It’s already twelve thirty. Everyone is downstairs.” She says. “Thanks mom, I’ll be down in a minute.” I say holding my covers against me. When she leaves I get out of my bed and throw on a pair of Capri’s with a sunny yellow t-shirt. I look in my mirror, comb my hair, and pull it back into a ponytail, apply moisturizer and a touch of make up. I run to the hall bathroom and brush my teeth. I see Nick pressed up against the wall and the window and walk over to him. I shake him gently on the shoulder. “Nick.” I say. He moves and when he opens his eyes, he avoids my eyes. I don’t think anything of it, until breakfast. “Morning.” He says stretching his arms out and yawning. I laugh at how cute he looks. He stands up and after running his fingers through his hair we walk down stairs together. I see my mom wave through the glass door of the deck. I wave back. “Where were you two?” Joe asks. Everyone is looking at Nick and I. He walks over to the island and sits. I shrug and grab the Corn Pops from the cupboard. “I was in my room.” I say and grab a bowl from the other cupboard. I smile deviously at Nick. “Where were you Nick?” I smile. He looks down. “I slept by the window upstairs. I love storms.” He says when he looks up and smiles. Something about his smile isn’t right, and when our eyes meet, I see sadness in his. I look away and notice that Alicia and Meghan are looking at the two of us. I frown and turn back to my cereal. I'm sitting beside Alicia and Joe, who are looking at the comics in the paper and being very indiscreet with their affection. Nick and I should be like that, but something’s eating at him, and the tension between us is thick. I don’t understand. “What time are we leaving Kev?” Joe asks looking up from the cartoons. Kevin looks at time on the stove. “Mom and Dad want us home before 3:00. They need us home for something. We can leave in half an hour” He says glancing at a magazine. “Hey Ter?” She asks. I look at her. “Where are Mom and Dad?” She asks. “Um, I think I heard them outside a minute ago.” I say finishing the rest of my cereal. There is silence in the kitchen as Meghan walks out to talk to my parents. When she comes in everyone moves to the living room. Alicia and Joe are cuddled up and Kevin and Meghan are playing guitar hero. Everyone but Nick and I looks happy. “Nick, I need to talk to you.” I say grabbing his hand and pulling him away from the couch. I drag him outside the back door. “What’s wrong? You’ve been really weird all morning. I thought you would be happy. Last night…I know I didn’t dream it.” “No, you didn’t dream it. You kissed me and you told me you loved me. I wish it would have been a dream.” He says sitting down on the steps. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?” I say offended. “Terry, it means that I'm not ready for you to love me. I'm not ready to be with you.” I look at him in disbelief. He gets up to walk back inside and I stop him. “Wait, so what you said last night, that meant nothing.” He tries to say something, but I'm not finished yet. “And that kiss. Nick, you kissed me back. Everything you said to me… And now, all you say is ‘I'm not ready to be with you’?” He looks down. “I can’t do this.” He says looking away from me. “Is it because you’re leaving? If it is, I'll still be here when you get back. You know it can work.” I say softening. I sit down on the steps. He sits beside me. “It’s just that all the pressure from you and from Kim…” He trails off. “What does Kim have to do with this? I thought you two were friends now.” I say tensely. “She thinks we’re more.” He looks at me. “Nick, you’re going to have to make up your mind. Because you can’t just banter between being together and apart.” I say tersely. “I don’t want to banter.” He says. He looks hurt. “I just don’t know what I want right now.” “Well, it’s obviously not me.” I look away, trying to hold in tears. I hear a noise from behind us and someone comes to the door. “Hey man, we gotta go.” Joe says. “Yeah, we’re just saying goodbye.” Nick says quietly. Joe walks away. “Well, Nick, your life’s waiting, and I don’t want to keep you.” I say and stand up. I know saying that hurts him, but right now I almost want him to hurt. He shakes his head and I walk inside. Meghan and Alicia say goodbye to their boys, and I watch out the front window as they drive away. I want so badly to break down and cry, but I know it’s not going to make anything better. I try to keep my mind off Nick, so the rest of the day I spend with my sister and my best friend. We face off in volleyball, ride the waves, and walk along the shore looking at shells. When dinner is finished, my dad talks to us about going home tomorrow. All day I have put on a brave face, so with this new revelation, I don’t bother taking it off. I'm happy for my dad because I know this is something that is really important to him, but I selfishly, I don’t take my mind of my own life. Alicia, Meghan and I all race upstairs to pack. Maybe this won’t be so bad. I can just avoid Nick the rest of the time they are here. That sounds terrible, but I know if I can bear being around the guy I love, who doesn’t love me back, and who doesn’t even want to be with me. I start to throw my clothes carelessly into the suitcase. Alicia knocks on my door and I look up. “Hey Runt.” She says coming over to me. “Are you excited to see the guys again?” She says enthusiastically. “They only left this morning.” I say walking to the dresser to grab my lotions and makeup. “Terry, what’s wrong? You’ve been acting really strange since they left. Do you want to talk to me about it?” She says putting her hand on my shoulder. I know I can trust Alicia and I really want someone to talk to. Meghan has been so wrapped up in Kevin that I don’t feel like I can talk to her about anything. “It’s just, I thought Nick and I were together, but he says he’s not ready to be with me.” I say pulling things off my hangers and folding them. “I just need some time to get over him, that’s all.” I finish. “Oh, well if that’s what you want, I mean forgetting him and-“ She stops because her phone is ringing. She opens it and sits on the bed. I finish putting things into my bag as I listen to Alicia on the phone. “Hey Joe!” She exclaims as her eyes light up. Slowly though, I see her smile fade. “Oh…Oh no…I’ll miss you…really?...I can imagine…I should go too…you too.” She closes her phone and starts to sob. “Oh my God, Ali, what’s wrong?” I run to her and wrap my arms around her. “I’m just being ridiculous, but they are leaving early.” She says through sniffles. My stomach does a flip. I feel like a complete bitch when the first thought that runs through my head is Better sooner than later. What’s happening to me?

SORRY for the dumb ending on Chapter six..I hope you like this one better. It's the last chapter and yes its pretty short. =) =) I know there isn't as many as the Kevin one, but the sequels are going up soon so... well, I really don't know how that relates to the number of chapters. Either way.Annie, sorry again that i lied about the time haha =) Email me : triplezerotriplezero@gmail.comChapter Seven~ “How early?” I say getting over myself and trying to focus on Alicia. “They leave tomorrow.” She cries a little more. My heart jumps to my throat. I think of the last thing I said to Nick, and the way we ended things. I realize that I won’t be able to let go of how much I really love him. The rush of emotions that have come over me are insane, but I'm trying to put them aside. “He didn’t break up with me Terry. He said he wants to be with me when he gets home.” She says smiling weakly. “But it’s going to be insanely hard. Oh God.” She stops smiling and dries her tears. “I want to go check on Meghan. Joe said Kevin was in the other room telling her.” Leaving my room, I realize I haven’t got a phone call from Nick, and it hurts when I remember that things are done between us. Why should it matter if he calls me? Alicia walks in and sits beside Meghan whose face is spotted and red from crying, just like Meghan’s. Meghan is cradling Alicia. I walk to the end of the bed and sit. “You guys, they had to go sometime.” I say. Brilliant Terry, make them feel worse. “I guess.” Alicia says lifting her head. “But you weren’t in love.” Meghan and Alicia say at the same time. They look at each other surprised. I only look down and feel tears in my eyes. You have no idea. The three of us sigh. “What are we going to do?” Alicia asks. “Look, guys, we had lives before them. We will now too. It’s not a big deal.” I say frustrated. I watch as my big sister stands up and comes towards me. “How can you say something like that?” She fumes. “I love Kevin, and you expect me to go on like nothing has happened? And Alicia with Joe.” She is getting really pissed. Apparently she isn’t finished screaming at me. “Don’t you feel sad that Nick is leaving? Do you have any ounce of love in you?” I really try to ignore the fact that she has said that, but it’s not under my control anymore. Alicia puts her hand on Meghan’s shoulder, but it won’t stop me. “Don’t. Don’t talk to me about him! I know how I feel. I feel the same about him as you do about Kevin, or you about Joe!” I yell, standing up. “But maybe, it would have been better if they never got famous, I never became obsessed with them, and we never fell in love with them.” I try to calm myself down and lower my voice. “Maybe we were better apart. Maybe, we were meant for bigger things than each other. I love Nick, but I can’t let myself hold him back.” This is my reasoning. I don’t mention that Nick doesn’t love me back, or that he isn’t ready to be with me. I want to let things go, and maybe this is my way to move on. I hug her and kiss her on the cheek, and lie, saying that I have to go pack. I get to my room and close the door. I lay down on the bed and stare at the ceiling A few minutes later, I hear a quiet tap on the door. I sigh and get up. When I open the door, I see a flushed Alicia. “Hey.” She says quietly. “Hi.” I look up at her. I'm not sure where the awkwardness between us has come from, but I imagine it’s something to do with my blow-out with Meghan. “Here, I know you love shells and I found this on the beach this morning. I thought that you could use something unique and amazing to help you through all of this.” She hands me something wrapped in a Kleenex. “Terry, sweetie, did you tell Nick you loved him?” She asks leaning against the doorframe. “Yeah, and I thought he loved me too.” I feel the smooth surface through the tissue. “I guess some of us are more fortunate than others huh?” I say, trying to be lighter. She hugs me and smiles. “Goodnight sweetheart.” She says and goes to her room. I don’t close my door, but curiously take the tissue from the gift. My heart stops when I see what it is. A large pearly blue shell is in my hands, polished from the ocean and shimmery blue. I close my eyes and feel the tears pour through. I feel the shell and notice that a small piece is missing. I think of Nick’s bracelet. I place the shell on my desk and run downstairs to the storage closet. It’s Déjà-vu as I grab the same materials I did when I found the other shell. I run back upstairs and thin the leather string first with a pair of scissors. I do it the same way my mom showed me two years ago. Second I burn a tiny whole in the shell, so that I thread the string through it. When I finish, I clasp it around my neck and see that it fits. I leave the homemade jewelry on my desk, along with the supplies. I told Nick that there was beauty in everything, and that it wasn’t that hard to find. If that is true, then where is the beauty here, and why can’t I find it? I crawl into my bed and thinking of how much I wish I could have changed, fall asleep. ------ Morning rolls around, and my parents are flying around the house, checking to make sure that everything is secure, and that we haven’t forgotten anything. Sitting outside the door with Alicia, ready to go, I feel someone’s hand brush my head. I look up to see my sister smiling down at me. She joins me on the step and sighs. When Meghan throws a look to Alicia, she picks up the hint and plugs her headphones into her ears. “Terry, I'm really sorry for blowing up at you last night, I was just so frustrated. I understand what you’re saying, and why you’re hurt. Alicia told me you told him you loved him.” I listen patiently as she continues, even if I really don’t want to be reminded of the whole ‘Nick and I’ debacle. “I love Kevin, and I think that I could love him forever, and I know that Alicia loves Joe, so when you said those things, it hurt me. What you said rings true Terry. I don’t know if I can be a weight on Kevin’s shoulders, but that’s something I need to deal with. What I want to ask is, do you really love him Terry? Did you mean every part of it when you said it?” I sigh. I look at my sister, who is trying to get me to open up to her, but I don’t feel like that’s possible right now. “Yeah, I did.” I say against my thoughts. “Mom and Dad need help.” I say standing up and walking inside, leaving Alicia and Meghan on the steps. I know that I will eventually tell her, but right now I need so much not to think about it. The car ride home is dull, even with my music. When we pull up to our house, Meghan jumps out and grabs all of her stuff. I assume that she is going over to the Jonases house to say goodbye as soon as she can. I lift my suitcase out of the back of the car, and help Alicia with hers. We get inside and watch as Meghan bolts out the door and up the street. “Where is she off to?” My mom asks, setting down her bag. “She’s going to say goodbye to the guys.” I say. I drag my suitcase up the stairs to my bedroom, with Alicia behind me. We get to my room, and drop the cases. I feel the necklace bump against my chest. I rub the smooth shell in my hands. I look up and see Alicia staring. “Is that the…” She walks over and lifts the pearl blue object. “It is. I never noticed there was a piece missing.” She runs her fingers over it and I think of Nick. “You know, I did some research on these shells, they are extremely rare. One in two million kind of thing. From genetically mutated Oysters or something like that.” I smile at her. Alicia always there to hand me useless information. “You’re sure it’s okay with your parents if I crash here tonight? I mean, they have had to deal with me for a week and a third already, plus like a year combined of me.” I chuckle. “No Ali, it’s fine. You’re family. You know that.” I smile at her. She sets her purse down on the bed. “Do you think I should say goodbye?” Alicia asks looking out the window. “If you want. I don’t think I can.” I frown and sit down at my desk. I twirl in my chair and stop when I see the picture. The only picture on my wall. Me, Nick and Joe. I took it at their house the day I met them. Thinking back, the past two weeks have been incredibly fast. The overwhelming feeling makes me weak and I start to crumble. My head falls into my heads and I cry. Alicia’s arm is around me in seconds and I can hear her cooing as she holds me. “I wrecked it.” I say through my mass of tears. “No Terry. You didn’t ruin it, you just didn’t get to really experience it.” She says. She’s right I suppose. I think back to the day that I met Nick. We were sitting on the couch while Joe and Alicia played Guitar Hero, and Kevin and Meghan talked outside. We were talking about random things, and Coke-Cola came up. He was drinking diet. “How could I be so stupid Ali?” I say lifting my head. My tears stop and I wipe my face. She looks confused. I look out the window and stare at the street. It’s then that I realize I never followed my own advice. That day I told Nick that if you’re going to do something, do it right. That is the very thing that we never did, maybe we just needed a kick in the right direction. My mind is made up. I'm going to fix this. But I have to do it over. Everything. “What?” Alicia asks. “If you’re going to do something, do it right.” I say laughing. ••••The End..(for now) ••••
