I rewrote the story. Here it is. Hope you like it. (:

Chapter One
Brooke's Point of View
I was in light blue painted room sitting on my bed with my acoustic guitar. I had my music book on my bed and a pencil next to me too. I tugged on my brown hair not knowing what else to write. I played some chords of the song and sang some words over and over until I came up with an idea. I wrote down the lyrics in my music book.
If the heart is always searching
can you ever find a home
I've been looking for that someone
I'll never make it on my own
Dreams can't take the place of loving you
There's gotta be a million reasons why it's true
When you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side
When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes
How long will I be waiting
To be with you again
Gonna tell you that I love you
In the best way that I can
I can't take a day without you here
You're the light that makes my darkness disappear
When you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side
When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes
I'm still not done with the song, but I think it's good. I wrote a few songs before this one but this one seems different. It's not like the others. It's definately my favorite one I've written even though it's not done yet. I started to play the song again and see if I can think of what other lyrics I can add to the song. "More than more," I started to sing while playing the song.
All of a sudden, someone ran inside my room without knocking rapidly. I looked up and saw Janele, my best friend since I was five. She had the most excited look and biggest smile on her face. It kind of creeped me out. "Ever heard of knocking?" I asked as she tried to control her breathing.
"Sorry, Brooke, I just ran through like that," she answered with her hands on her knees still trying to catch her breath. "But I have the greatest news for you!"
"What's so important that you had to run through my room like that without knocking?" Before she was about to answer, I came up with an idea. "Did Johnny Depp move next door?"
"No silly," Janele said finally breathing normally. "I have these!" She pulled something from behind her back pocket and pushed two white, rectangular papers towards my face.
I pushed her hands away from me to try and see what she was holding. "What are those?"
"Two Jonas Brothers concert tickets!" Janele screamed at what I think was at the top of her lungs because her face turned red. I hope my mom didn't hear that.
"Be quiet!" my very annoying 11-year-old brother, Max, screamed from his room.
"Sorry!" I put my guitar on my bed and got up to close the door. I sat down on my bean bag chair and Janele took a seat on my computer chair. I faced Janele whose eyes were wide and had a huge smile on her face. "This was so important that you had to disrupt me in the middle of writing a song?"
"Yes. This is very important." I rolled my eyes at her. "You know how my dad didn't give me a present for my birthday two weeks ago?" I nodded yes at her. "Well he bought me these tickets for the Jonas Brothers concert next week. And their front row!"
"Okay." I wasn't a fan of the Jonas Brothers. They're okay but their music isn't something I'd listen to everyday unlike Janele who does. I have a few songs on my iPod because Janele played their two CDs when I went over to her house one day. A few songs interested me and I asked her if she could put them in my iPod. She happily agreed.
"Did you just hear what I said?" Janele asked me with a loudly. "Do I have to repeat myself?"
"No. Please don't." I took my guitar and started to strum a few notes.
"Anyway, I'm taking you to the concert with me, Brooke!"
I stopped playing and looked up at her. "What? I don't want to go to their concert."
"Why not? You're a fan aren't you?"
"I won't consider myself a fan. I like a few songs."
"Please Brooke. It won't be right without you," Janele begged.
"I don't want to go, Janele. And you can't make me," I protested.
"Puh-lease. You're my bestest friend in the whole world."
"Can't you bring Dylan with you?"
"I want you to go with me. Dylan's a dude and there will be a lot girls there and I don't want him to be around a lot of girls." I rolled her eyes at her. "Please please please. Please go with me." I looked up at her and she was giving me a puppy face. It was the puppy face that gave her anything she wanted. She used that face two months ago to get a bigger HDTV than what her dad wanted her to get for her room.
"Fine. I'll go with you, Janele," I gave in.
"Yes!" She got up and started to jump up and down.
"And I know we get a little crazy. And I know we get a little loud. And I know we're never gonna face it we are wild we are free, we are more than you think so call us freaks. But that's just the way we roll." Janele's ringtone began to play.
Janele took out her cell phone from her pocket and read the screen. "It's Dylan!"
"Great." I didn't like it when he called and I was in the same room with Janele. It's not that I didn't like him and all. It's because of what they say to each other.
"Hey, Dylan.. Really? I miss you too.. You're too sweet.. No you are, Dylan.. Are you kidding me you are?.. No you are.. Stop saying that you are too sweet.." she said to Dylan.
"Can you please go talk to your boyfriend at your house, Janele? It's so annoying when you two talk like that to each other," I complained.
"Fine. I'll leave you here," Janele yelled at me.
"Thank you."
"No, Dylan-bear. I was talking to Brooke.. Of course I'd never talk to you like that.. You're too sweet.. No you are.." I couldn't take it anymore. I got up and pushed her out the door and locked my door. I can still hear her talking on the phone repeating 'no you are' to her boyfriend.
"Finally," I said to no one. "I can finish my song." I sat on my bed and started to playing some notes on my guitar and singing trying to finish the song. After about an hour and a half I finished my song and started to play it from the beginning.
If the heart is always searching
can you ever find a home
I've been looking for that someone
I'll never make it on my own
Dreams can't take the place of loving you
There's gotta be a million reasons why it's true

Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side
When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes
More than more
I start to realize
I can reach my tomorrow
I can hold my head up high
And it's all because you're by my side
When you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side
When I hold you in my arms
I know that it's forever
I just gotta let you know
I never want to let you go
'cause when you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright (it's alright)
When you're right here by my side
When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes
I smiled at my finished song. I loved it. I wrote down in big letters, 'When You Look Me in the Eyes' as the song name. I continued playing the song over and over to memorize it. I loved the song so much.

As you can see, I used their song. I didn't know what else to use. So, yeah. Hope you liked it. I'll post the second chapter soon. (:
