everyone knew the jonas brothers. they were on every magazine cover and flooded teenage girls heads. but no one could ever know them like she did. jessica ann miller knew the boys on a much deeper level. a level that no one ever had even been too. she didnt see them as the teen pop sensations that they were, but as individuals. she loved them unconditionally. and soon she fell into such a love that she couldnt even dream of. this is her story:
she woke up on the first day of summer at 6:02am, her usual school time. she groaned and got out of bed. how could she wake up this early? she dragged her feet slowly on the carpet, down the hall and into the bathroom. she turned on the shower and watched as the room filled with steam. she undressed and took a long hot shower. after, she wrapped herself in a towel and walked back towards her room. after getting dressed she walked down the stairs and right out the door. '' to the jonas' " she thought to herself. walking one house over, she let herself in. exactly one week ago she found out that they would be spending the summer with her. she walked up the stairs and listened, it was silent. she smiled and walked into kevin's room. he was passed out with his pillow over his head. "kevin," she said poking him. he groaned and she poked him again. "jess? 10 more minutes. im so tired,"he said. she smiled and ruffled his curly hair. "fine, but i will be back." she walked out and walked into nick's room. he was already awake, playing his guitar softly. "hey shorty, creating another hit?" she said. nick looked up and smiled. "just something that came to me this morning" "im going to breakfast, you wanna come with me and your brother?" she asked quietly. he nodded his head and put his guitar down. "just let me shower before joe hogs the bathroom." jessica laughed and shut the door. she stopped infront of joe's room and put her ear to the door. she could hear im softly breathing. she tip-toed in and jumped on his big bed. "up sleepy head, i promised you breakfast after you came home from tour. well todays the day dude!" she said jumping. Joe jumped out of bed, fully dressed and awake. "ha! jokes on you i was already awake!" he said. jessica moaned indefeat. she got up and gived him a big hug "i missed you man. its been boring here without dj danger." joe hugged her tight. "oh and ive been practicing my guitar hero and im pretty sure i can beat you. wanna play?" joe smiled. "duh!" they walked downstairs and into the den. they turned on the game and for the next hour they played until nick came down. :im ready, lets go."
the next 2 hours were filled with stories from the tour and what jessica did without them. they loved coming to this diner. while jessica,nick and joe were laughing a girl came up to them. "excuse me? can i have your autograph?" she asked. jessica looked at her. she had to be atleast 16. she watched as joe and nick signed the girls napkin. but mostly at joe because he looked at her in awe. when she walked away jessica piped in. "drool much joseph?"she said. nick started laughing. "did you not see her? she was beautiful. ive never seen a more beautiful girl in my life"joe said. jessica turned around and looked at her again. she was about 5'4, blonde hair-the real kinda blonde too-lightly tanned skin and big blue eyes. she was pretty. she turned back around and looked at him. "go for it man" she said. joe shook his head and his cheeks turned a little pink. thats the one thing about joe that jessica absolutely loved- he was showcased as this confident,outgoing guy. but in reality he was just a shy little boy. "fine i will" she started. nick laughed harder. "joe you better go do before she does. we all know she'll say something to embarass you" he said. Joe looked at jessica and smiled. he got up from the table and walked to the girl. she was sitting alone at a booth. jessica turned her head and watched as joe asked her out. about 5 minutes he came back with a huge smile across his face and a phone number. about another hour or so later they left the diner and parted ways. "call me!" she yelled after the boys. she went straight to her room and sat infront of her vanity. she looked at her reflection and couldnt understand why he couldn't notice her. she had staight black hair that lay passed her shoulders, emerald eyes,pale skin. she wasnt ugly. 4 years ago she had her braces off and she lost all her baby fat. sure, she had a lot of boys ask her out-but none of them could compare to him. she wanted one person and no one else. but being in the best friend/sister zone didnt exactly help her chances. she picked up her eyeliner and lightly put it on, the some lip gloss. she looked the same as she always did. she got up from her chair and ran back to the jonas'. she marched up the stairs and barged into joe's room "joe-we...we umm need to talk"
