A Crazy Story

- Note: I'm not English, so my English isn't very good, but I tried to write this, I first wrote it in Dutch, I've got the whole story completed in Dutch, 27 Chapters, I've wrote 6 Chapters in English, and I'm now posting the first Chapter over here, hope you like it and please don't be too hard on me, my English is probably better than your Dutch
Anyway, it's a short chapter, but yeah.


Chapter 1 ; I’m Going Crazy

I turned to computer on, something I very often did, so it was just normal in my life. I started iTunes and listened to some music. I listened to the Jonas Brothers, Burnin’ Up, to be exact. I wasn’t a big JB fan, but I liked the song, so I just listened to it. I wasn’t paying attention anymore, my thoughts were floating away. When another song started, I ‘woke up’. I decided to take a look on the internet. I was checking out my favourite site; TMF.nl. A music channel’s website. The button on the homepage got my attention. Vote for your favourite artist and win a Meet and Greet with the Jonas Brothers!
I clicked on it and voted for my favourite; Jason Mraz. I loved the song I’m Yours. I shut down the computer, walked to the living room and watched TV.

Days passed. The most time of it, I spent on the computer. That’s where I was sitting right now, too. I was bored, so I just listened to music and looked for some Twilight Wallpapers, Twilight freak, that’s how I liked to call myself. ‘Lieke!’ I heard my mother screaming. ‘Yes,’ I said back. ‘There’s mail for you,’ she told me. ‘I’m coming,’ I said, wondering who the hell would write me. Downstairs I saw a letter laying down on the table. I read it and nearly screamed. I think you, as reader, already know what was in that letter, but I’ll tell you. ‘What’s wrong?’ my mother asked. ‘I won a Meet and Greet with the Jonas Brothers!’ I half screamed. Well, I wasn’t a big Jonas Brothers fan, but this rocked!

Chapter 2 ; You Can Love Me, But I Don’t Love You

I sat in a little room, alone. A man had told me that the Jonas Brothers should arrive in a few minutes. I was getting a little bit nervous, but I wasn’t very nervous, I should have been more nervous for a test in school, so this was nothing. The door opened and I saw Nick, Joe and Kevin. ‘Hello,’ I said. ‘Hi,’ Nick said, nearly perplexed, he probably expected me to go crazy or something. Well, I had to disappoint him, I wasn’t that kind of girl. I just wasn’t going to scream or something, hell no. Nick, Joe and Kevin sat on the other site of the table. We just talked. I told them something about myself, asked some questions, they answered all of them. ‘We’ve to go now guys,’ Joe once said. ‘Why?’ Nick asked. ‘You idiot, we’ve got a concert in Amsterdam,’ Kevin said and he hit Nick friendly. Nick stared for a while, uncertain. ‘What’s the problem little brother?’ Joe asked him. Nick didn’t answer and I wondered what was wrong with him. ‘Nick, what’s the matter?’ Joe asked again. ‘Nothing, nothing,’ Nick mumbled. ‘Yeah right, I don’t believe you,’ Joe said and I didn’t believe Nick either. Nick whispered something in Joe’s ear. ‘No way! No, Nick, she can’t,’ Joe said, almost upset. Nick looked really disappointed. ‘Please,’ he begged. ‘No,’ Joe said, resolute. ‘Joe, do you want me to play good tonight, or not?’ Nick asked. ‘You can play good without her,’ Joe said. ‘No, Joe, I can’t,’ Nick said. Joe sighed. I was wondering about what they were talking and I thought Kevin also didn’t understand any word of what they were saying. ‘What are you guys talking about?’ he asked. Yeah, I wanted to know that too, I thought, irritated. Nick’s face turned to meet mine. ‘Lieke?’ he asked me. I smiled, he said my name with a funny accent. ‘Yes,’ I said. ‘Do you want to come to the concert with us?’ Nick asked, a little bit hesitatingly. ‘Of course!’ I said happy. Nick smiled. I didn’t know what was going around in his head, but I didn’t care at the moment. Maybe he liked me, maybe he just thought I was nice. I was going to their concert anyway, and that was awesome, ‘cause I loved music.
