so i got this idea after watching Jersey Girl and also The Notebook but i'm not sure if it's gonna be good or not. soooo here is what i wrote so far and it'd be awesome if you would tell me if you like it or not. .... ohh and this would be my first thing ever written so that's why i want to run it by people first before i started it.
“Sophie, Joe, we have to leave for the concert now. Are you finished getting ready yet?” As soon as these words left my mouth I heard little footsteps running down the hall with another pair of footsteps behind those and I couldn’t help but laugh at the sight. The little girl had on the cutest blue and brown plaid skirt with matching short sleeve shirt, white stockings and brown boots on, however her hair was a different story. Her bangs were in her eyes and just all over the place and her blonde long curly had looked like it was hit by a tornado of little blue and brown clips.
“Daddy! Help peaseee, uncle Joey messed up my hair.” Sophie says as she points to Joe and then her train wreck hair.
“Come here baby,” I say and as she walks over to me I take all of the clips out of her hair. I take her bangs and clip them back to the side of her head since they are two long to actually be considered bangs anymore and I let the rest of her hair just stay down.
“there you go Soph, and remember next time uncle Joe wants to do your hair, just run the other way.” I say
“Ha Ha very funny Kevin.“ Joe says sarcastically as he walks outside and towards the car.
I take Sophia’s hand and lead her outside and I lock the door behind me before we walk towards the car and I help her into her car seat and then sit down next to her as Big Rob drives us to the venue.
You’re probably all confused right about now huh? I guess I should explain a few things before I keep telling this story. My name is Paul Kevin Jonas II and if you didn’t already know, I am in a band with called The Jonas Brothers, with my two other brothers Joe and Nick. We used to be really famous and we would tour around the world a lot. However, right now we just do local shows or very short tours, our longest one this year was only 2 months. Considering we all have, had, or want to start a family we decided that touring for long periods of time just are not an option right now.
Yes you heard me right, we all have our own families now. Well actually in Joe’s case, he will be having a family very soon, since his wife is 6 months pregnant. Nick and his wife have two kids a boy named Rory who is 3 and a new born baby girl named Emily who is only 10 months old. Which leaves me, I have a baby girl named Sophia who is 5 years old and she is my everything. You see her mom passed away while giving birth to her. Now Sophie is the only thing I have left of my wife, Maddie. At first it was very hard to deal with losing the love of my life, and it was even harder since Sophia looks exactly like her mother. I feel into a very deep depression, it was to the point where I couldn’t even look at Sophia and my parents had to take care of her. Then finally after about 11 months of never even seeing my daughter, Nick snapped me out of it. He screamed at me, telling me to man up and take care of my daughter. He told me that I should be happy that I had a beautiful healthy baby girl and that she needed me since she didn’t have a mother. I was quite shocked to hear Nick so upset with me so I did exactly what he said. It was still hard to look at her but it became better with time. Sometimes it is still hard but I would rather be able to just have her and not Maddie, than not having either of them.
