Why We do What We Do..(not a ff. but catchy title!

Hello everyone!!
Or...Jenny and Michelle!
I have an idea! a thought! it just struck me last night:

I know why we do what we do to poor Kevin. Its not out of hate, or the fact that we love to torture him in our stories *smiles inocently*
But I think its the fact that he's Kevin. And I think we like to write him in difficult and chalenging and dramatic situations because we just KNOW (we dont know why..but we do) we just KNOW that he will always make the right choice, dession, and just do the right thing. Because we all know he's a great guy. I think we put him in those situations just so we can show the world how we think he would handle them. And I personally think he would handle any bad situation well; by doing the right thing. I know I dont know any of the boys...but I Do know them. reading about them, seeing them in concert, the whole nine yards. i just think we do what do because we know Kevin will shine in the darkest of rooms. (hey! awsome line for a song..i might use that lol)
But you know..

done with sappy long rant.

what do y'all think? haha i know it was extremly sappy...but I just love all three of those boys so much. Their music has inspired me so much and their songs can always make me smile no matter what.

So yeah..what do y'all think?

i agree, but i also think it's a way of humanizing him. Because as you said we don't know him, and without drama, he would lack depth. He'd just be another random character and not Kevin.

i couldn't have put that better if i tried, kris. it's so true. i love all three of the boys but it's just something about kevin....
i have tried to write stories for the other boys but i just can't. i just can't get THAT kind of feel for them, ya know? kevin just has this...realness to him....and humility. i admire him for being an amazing man and i can not believe how wonder him and his brothers are....their parents are awesome and it shows.
and gosh kris....you had me getting a little choked up there towards the end! lol but like jenny said....he's human and i feel like that you both do such a great job in capturing that in your stories. that's why their so good...because when you read it you can really see it happening and it's not pushy or fake or rushed.
anywho....i'm glad that there's at least two of you who get it! lol

you're all dead on.
it's like..we need that depth and humanization (if thats a word =D), as jenny said, the way of showing our faith in him.
I'm honored to be a part of that just as all of you.
