My very first one shot! Thinking on it since the album came out and I heard the song, 'Sorry.'
So, yeah, I hope you guys enjoy it =]

"You promised, Kevin, you promised," she cried to him.
He sighed on the other end of the phone, "I know, baby, I know. It's not my fault, things just turned out this way."
"You said this time was going to be different, you swore."
"Bree, I know. You know I want to be there with you, but I can't," he said, trying to reason with her. They had, had that conversation so many times before in their two year relationship.
Kevin Jonas, heard of him? Yeah, he's one third of the band Jonas Brothers. However, he was known to Bree Tupper has her boyfriend, the boy she met by chance shopping one day in Los Angeles while he was doing a tour with his brothers as an opener. As cheesy and clichéd as it was, it was something along the lines of love at first sight.
"We not even far apart, I mean, you could just drive up here," she suggested, sniffling.
He sighed sadly, "I would love to do that, you know that. I can't. You're in L.A., and I'm in San Diego, with traffic that's over three hours."
Fresh sobs started on Bree's end, at her home in Los Angeles, "Why did we even get back together, then? Huh, Kevin, tell me why, I'm not even your girlfriend anymore, am I? Just someone that sits here, waiting to hear from you, when it's good for you to make a call to me. That's all isn't it?"
Kevin's eyes popped and he jumped up from where he was laying on his bunk, "Don't ever say that, Bree. Don't even think that. I love you, so much, you know that. You're more than a girlfriend to me, you're my everything. My whole world."
"Then why do I always feel like I'm last place to everything to you, I know you don't always have the time Kevin. But I don't like going a whole week without hearing one single thing from you. That hurts, Kev. I have to read things going on with you and your family from Perez Hilton, how do you think that makes me feel?"
Kevin went out into the front room of the tour bus; no one else was awake, it being after five in the morning. He sat on the couch and looked ahead, out at the passing scenery, headed to their next venue in the San Diego area.
"I don't know. I understand it must hurt, but I can't control it, this business...it's non stop, I can't drop things like concerts to leave," he told her.
She sighed shaking her head, "No, you can't. I'm sorry I'm such a distraction, that I bother you. I'm sorry that I'm your girlfriend, and that sometimes I want to talk to you, because I never see you anymore. But, you’ve let me down, Kevin, too many times. So, I'll just make it all easier. Goodbye, Kevin. Good luck on everything you and family does." She hung up.
"Bree. Bree?" Kevin asked, looking at the phone. He clicked the off button, and sat and stared at it.
"Kevin?" Joe asked, coming out of the bunk area.
Kevin finally pulled his eyes away from his phone, looking over at his younger brother, "It's over."
"Bree, it's Kevin...again. Look, we can talk this all over, right? I know this isn't the first time we've had a fight about this, or broken up over something like this, but we've made it through, right? I know, it's all my fault. I will beg, Bree Tupper. Please, call me back. Please. I love you," Kevin said to Bree's answering machine for the twenty second time in two days.
"Kevin, come on man, we have to go on," Nick said, walking over to Kevin's side in the dressing room.
He looked up at Nick, "I know, but...she has to call me back right?"
Nick gave an encouraging smile, "Come on, let’s play a rockin' show."
Kevin nodded, got up and left the room, Joe came in right after, and looked at Nick, "I hope she calls him."
"I can't even look at him, I mean; it was really serious this time. With the other times, they were back together after twenty four hours. I'm a little worried about him now," Nick said, "But we do have a show to do now."
Nick and Joe both left the dressing room, and headed to the stage.
After the show was done, and the boys and their family was back in the dressing room, ready to head over to Arizona for a few shows, Kevin's phone went off. Kevin dragged himself to where it was on one of the shelves, not bothering to look at it, he simply hit the accept button and put the phone to his ear.
"Hello?" he asked, with no emotion to his voice. Lifeless.
"It's not too late for us, Kevin," he heard Bree say from the other line.
He let out a breath he didn't know he started holding when he heard her voice, "I love you."
"I know, I love you too. And I'm so sorry. I can't be so selfish, I know that I can't talk to you every single day, but knowing that you love me as much as I love you, Kevin...that's enough for me" she told him.
He sat on the couch in the room, with his family smiling at him, "No, Bree. You don't need to be sorry. I'm the one who's sorry. I love you and I should let you know that every single day. For everything wrong I've ever done that's hurt you, I'm sorry."
So, yeah, I hope you guys enjoy it =]

Broken hearts and last goodbyes
Restless nights
But lullabies helps make this pain go away
I realize I let you down
Told you that I'd be around
I'm building up the strength just to say

I'm Sorry
For breaking all the promises that I wasn't around to keep
It's all me,
This time is the last time that I'll ever beg you to stay
But your already on your way
For breaking all the promises that I wasn't around to keep
It's all me,
This time is the last time that I'll ever beg you to stay
But your already on your way

Filled with sorrow, filled with pain
Knowing that I am to blame
For leaving your heart out in the rain
And I know your gonna walk away
And leave me with the price to pay
Before you go I wanted to say
Knowing that I am to blame
For leaving your heart out in the rain
And I know your gonna walk away
And leave me with the price to pay
Before you go I wanted to say

Can't make it alive on my own
But if you have to go,
Then please girl, just leave me alone
'Cause I don't want to see
You and me going our separate ways
I'm begging you to stay
If it isn't too late
But if you have to go,
