Swearing is involved!
[The way I set my chapters out is that the title is one of the Jonas Brothers songs and it is mentioned in the fanfic at some point. Sometimes I'll need help with a story for the song, so I might ask for help.]
Chapter One;; When You Look me In The Eyes
We have visited New York seven times for concerts and every time I see her.
When we first started coming to New York, she would be just like all our other fans; screaming, saying she loves us, always smiling. She came to every signing we did and every time we had a concert, she would get front row seat slightly to the left of the stage so she could be near me when I played a piano.
But things have changed.
A few months ago, I did an autograph signing in New York and I was waiting to see her and her banana blonde hair. But, when she came, there was no banana blonde hair. When I asked her about what happened, she told me she had developed cancer. She told me that she didn't want the treatment and that she wanted to keep her blonde hair to look pretty for me. She then told me that my speech about having diabetes showed her that she needed the treatment and it wouldn't change her life one bit. I have remembered her ever since.
My fingers hit the piano keys as we start "When You Look Me In The Eyes" at our eight concert in New York. I glance around the crowd and there she is in her rightful spot in the front row. But, instead of her banana blonde hair, she is showing off her bald head. She is looking at me, giving me a sweet smile while the girls around her scream. I start to sing, "When you look me in the eyes, and tell me that you love, every thing's all right because your right here by my side." She still isn't screaming even though I sung those lyrics while looking her directly in the eyes.
She is more beautiful now.
After the concert...
The concert has now finished and I am searching for my guitar case backstage. I am listening to Joe talk about this hot girl her saw. "Man, you should of seen her, Kev. She was fucking uh-mazing!" He says and I even though I can't see it, I can hear the big grin on his face. This makes me smile. Joe has always been about the looks. I'm different.
I actually think that Rachelle is the most beautiful girl on Earth right now. When I first met her, she reminded me of the popular girl at a school. All she cared about was herself, her hair, her clothes and boys. When I heard from her own mouth that I had inspired her to get the treatment for her cancer, I felt happy. Rachelle had changed and it was because of me. Rachelle is beautiful in every way now. Beauty isn't about looks. When I told Joe that, he just hit me and said I was psycho for thinking that.
I know I'm not.
I find my guitar case on the stage after a few minutes of searching backstage. As I pack away my guitar, I notice the vacant spot where Rachelle had been. I wonder if she is outside as I want to talk to her about her cancer and how she is. And, Joe talking about the breast size of the girl in a graphical way is also partly responsible for me wanting to go outside. I place my guitar, which is secure and safe in its case, next to Kevin's case and I make my way over to exit door. "Seriously, Kev, her boobs were perfect! They were round, looked firm and I just want to touch them. Perfect tits mean she has a perfect cu-"
Luckily, I'm outside before he can finish the sentence.
The harsh winter winds hit my face like a slap. The wind dies down, which is good because I can't look for Rachelle if the wind is making me squint. I'm thankful I am at the back of the building as if I left via the front doors, I would be swarmed by the fans, which isn't very fun.
I started searching for Rachelle and I find her leaning against the wall. She is also at the back of the building. Did she know I wanted to see her? She couldn't of. Could she?
As I wipe out all thoughts that Rachelle could read minds, I make my way over to her. She is wearing a fluorescent pink down parka, skinny jeans and pink converse shoes. When I first met her, she had been wearing a way too small black dress and stilettos, something that didn't turn me on. As I look more closely at her, her banana blonde hair is starting to grow back, which I am happy to see. Well, time to talk.
"Hey."
I guess I caught her off guard as she jumped. She looked at me, mouth agape and eyes widened. Shaking her head, she closed her mouth. "Um, hey," She muttered, a bit embarrassed. Her cheeks were turning scarlet.
"I just want you to know, I am really proud that you got the treatment," I say with a smile on my face. She returns with a smile of her own. A sweet smile. My heart melts a little bit but I stop my outer body from doing the same.
"Thanks, um.... Nick."
Her cheeks are turning redder, if that is even possible. I walk over to the wall space next to her and lean up against the wall. "How are you holding up?" I asked, looking at the side of her face. I can see her gulping down what could be a variety of things. "Yeah, I'm, erm, fine," She replies, looking at the ground. I watch her for a few more moments before I take a pen and a piece of paper out of the pockets of my jean. No, that isn't a random thing to keep in my pocket. You have no idea how many fans want autographs. I write down my mobile number [555-098-472] so she can all me, or I can call her, when we need to.
"Here. Call me when ever you are feeling sad. I might call you as well." I put the paper in her hand and give her a bigger smile. Her eyes have widened again and she looks up at me. "Ahh... thanks. Um, I have to- um, parents... dinner. Yeah, I- bye..." She mutters, turning around and walking in the opposite direction. I watch as she walks away when I hear Joe's voice yelling at me.
"Fuck sakes, Nick, don't disappear like that! We have some crazy fans and you disappearing like that scares the shit out of me!"
I turn around and see him and Kevin coming over to me. "Oh, sorry," I mutter. I follow my two brothers back over to the door leading backstage when Joe shouts, "THAT'S HER! See Kev, massive boobs!" Before I know it, I am in the middle of a crowd of screaming girls. Joe doesn't seem to mind as he is squished up against his big-boobed friend. But how can I enjoy this when the only girl I have on my mind isn't here?
"You have some nice tits on you."
I close my eyes. Joe seems to l ruin every moment I am thinking about her.
I'll be waiting all night, all day for a phone call. A text. Anything. I'll wait a maximum of two days before I make the first move .
"And they feel nice, too!"
JOE!
