[now this is somewhat a fanfiction, but all of this actually happened to me in dreams. each new chapter is a new dream i had, three in all. enjoy]
chapter one: just friends
It was just an ordinary Saturday morning. Caitlin, Chelsey, Raquel and I were all laying on a beach in LA, talking about how amazing this summer was going to be. I sat up and looked around. Since it was an early Saturday morning, slightly overcast outside, and we were at a beach that only locals know about, there were very few people out. Then this group of guys playing football a couple yards down the beach caught my eyes. I watched them goof off and push each other down, totally having fun. They actually looked familiar. Then it hit me. They looked like the Jonas Brothers. I tapped Caitlin.
"Dude, Caitlin, look at those guys.." I said, still staring in awe.
"One is pretty cute but other than that-" she started saying.
"No! Don't they look like the Jonas Brothers!" I practically screamed.
"OMG they do! but I doubt it...right?"
"I don't know, but even if they aren't them, ill take the risk. Lets go talk to them." I said, still staring at these guys.
Chelsey and Raquel sat up, looked at the guys, and Chelsey said, "I doubt its them, but I'm bored, so we might as well"
We all four got up, I did a hair and make up check [just in case it was them] and walked over. As we got closer and closer to them, I was even more certain it was them. When we were just a few yards away, they stopped playing football and looked at us and Caitlin practically read my mind.
"Oh yea, its definitely them" she said.
Trying to hide my excitement, which of course I was about to jump around and scream, we walked up to them and stood there. None of us knew what to say. Finally Kevin spoke up, "Hey are you girls from around here?"
"uhhyeaa" Chelsey said.
"Well thats cool.." Kevin said. It was obviously awkward, so i spoke up.
"Do you mind if we talk to you guys a lil bit? We totally understand if you don't want to or if your busy but we are in love with your music and we are actually somewhat interesting, and you can find out for yourself once we get over this shock stage that we are all totally in right now" I exclaimed. I caught a glimpse at Nick and he was smiling! Not only that, but he was looking at me and smiling! He is so hotttt.
"sure! we weren't exactly getting too far playing football with 3 people" Joe said and we all sat down and started to talk. We told them our names, our grade, stuff we did for fun. They told us funny stories and things about their music. It was amazing. Finally after talking for an hour, we decided to get some pictures. We each took a picture with all 3 of them and even got a group photo. Before Caitlin put away her camera, I got the guts up to walk over to nick and ask for a pic with just him. I wasn't ever gonna see him again anyways...right? He smiled and said of course and we took the pic and he gave me a hug and I just about died. Then we all decided to go down in the water. Joe yelled "Last one in has to play in traffic!" and started racing down the beach. Kevin, Caitlin, Raquel and Chelsey all started running down to the water, but I just walked. I wasn't in the mood. I didn't really notice that Nick was walking too until he showed up at my side. "You like playing in traffic or something?" he said with a smile.
"Not exactly, but its better than getting sand in your face from people running in front of you" I replied.
"Good point." Nick said, and we just started talking. First about simple things like family and sports and music, and then we got into long talks about other things. We walked up and down the beach and I enjoyed every minute of it. Finally the whole group got together and we decided to go back to their house and hang out. The rest of the afternoon consisted of goofing off, pranks, and playing basketball, but with socks. It was too good to be true. And right before Caitlin's mom came to pick us up, we exchanged numbers and email addresses, and THE Jonas Brothers said they would call us sometime to hang out again.
As we gave our last hugs and walked out to the car, I was still in shock.
chapter 2: Goodnight and Goodbye
A few months later the Jonas Brothers had a mini concert in LA and invited us all to come. We hung out with them back stage for a bit before the concert, then after the concert hung out even more. Everyone was so pumped from the concert, so energetic and hyper. The rest of the girls and Joe and Kevin decided to go to a fun party in downtown LA. I decided to stay back with Nick. We just hung out on a couch in the tour bus and talked some more, gave each other updates of our lives. Finally Nick decided he needed some sleep on a real bed and wanted to go back to his house and sleep there before they had to go on the road again. As we walked to the back parking lot, there were still fans at the gates screaming "I LOVE YOU NICK!" and "MARRY ME!?"
"How do you deal with that 24/7? don't you ever get headaches?" I said with a smile as we walked by the girls, all giving me death stares as i got closer next to nick.
"I've learned to block it out. And they're our fans. Without them, we'd be nothing. I love the fans" Nick said.
"Well I'm a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers, does that mean you love me? or are you just saying that because there is press around?" I said with a smile.
"Of course I love you" Nick said with a smile, then just looked at me with his gorgeous face. There seemed to be so much more meaning behind that "i love you" then i was expecting. I just smiled and said "well thats good because I love my Jonas brothers"
We kept walking and talking and when we got to his car he gave me a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek and got into his car and leaned out the window and said "I'll call you, Kaitlyn", smiled, took off his hat and handed it to me, then drove away.
I went to meet up with my friends and told them about the most amazing night of my life, clutching nicks hat the whole time.
Chapter 3: Inseparable
The Jonas Brothers were having this small little concert for VIPs only so they could just hang with some fans and get to know them. None of my friends could go but I've been dying to see Nick. We've been talking on the phone alot lately, usually at night after his concerts. I'm really starting to like him.
The way they were doing this mini concert was really cool. The Jonas Brothers would sing a couple songs, then take a break and hang with some fans, sing a few more songs, then hang with fans. Like that over and over.
I just stayed in the back and listened to the music, the lyrics. And I sware, every time Nick sang, I didn't even have to look, I knew it was him, and I smiled. After the 2nd set, everyone went to the raffle so the Jonas Brothers could have a break from singing and fans, but I stayed back. I stood on the grass a few yards from the stage and just looked around, so amazed at how far I've come from that first day at the beach, fantasizing about the Jonas Brothers every day, to this. Getting regular calls from Nick. It was truly unbelievable.
Then I felt some arms wrap around my waste and I smiled and turned around to see nick, smiling too. He gave me a huge hug and still held me as we talked.
"How you been?" he asked.
"Ive been great actually. You were really amazing up there on stage. As usual" I said with a smile.
"Why thank you" He said, still holding me. He pulled me down and we layed next to each other on the grass. He held my hand as we looked up to the sky.
"I've missed you so much Kaitlyn.." he said.
"I bet I've missed you more" I replied.
"I doubt it" he said with a smile.
Thats when I knew that life couldn't get any better than this. Thats when I was truly happy, and couldn't think of any moment that ever came close to being as amazing as this exact point in time. Nick and I kept talking and when it was time for him to get back on stage he gave me another huge [amazing] hug, a kiss on the cheek, and walked up to the stage. Right before they started singing "That's Just The Way We Roll", Nick took the mic and said, "This goes out to that one special girl who has told me that this is her favorite Jonas Brothers song" he said and looked at me in the way back and smiled. They started rocking out and playing their songs and the whole time I just stared and smiled at Nick, totally mesmerized.
